LOUDOUN COUNTY, VA — A Leesburg man who was arrested and accused of sexually abusing a dog, exposing himself at a hospital, and assaulting a hospital employee faces reduced charges, according to court records. Some of the initial charges have been dismissed.

The man, 25-year-old Ariel Enrique Carrasco Intestroza, was charged with one count of felony sexual abuse of an animal, two counts of indecent exposure and one count of assault.

Prosecutors have chosen not to pursue the assault charge and one of the indecent exposure charges. The sexual abuse of an animal charge has been downgraded to misdemeanor cruelty to animals.
