One thing to note… because of its unique position, getting to this resort can be a bit bumpy and the transfer time is approximately ninety minutes. If this a concern we recommend a helicopter tour to the George F.L Charles Airport which is only about 15 minutes away from the Grande. Even if you’re comfortable with the drive, this flight to the north is one that you’ll remember for a lifetime!

• The main pool hosts a swim up bar and it’s where all the activity takes place. The playmakers are a blast but if you’re looking something more relaxed there are secluded retreats around the resort.

• The Beach is beautiful and ocean water is crystal clear. If you’re into snorkeling you can see beautiful fish and coral right around the main pier.

• There are plenty of lounge chairs around the pools and on the beach.

• The Water Sports Team is amazing and there is so much to do. Including, sailing, scuba diving, kayaking, snorkeling, paddle boards, etc. If you want a lesson, they’re more than happy to oblige.

Additional considerations and tips about Sandals Grande St. Lucia:​

• The resort transfer takes approximately 1 1/2 to 2 hours over windy narrow roads. It is a scenic drive but for those who are prone to car sickness it might be best to consider the helicopter transfer that cuts the transfer time down to about 15 min (plus a short drive to the Grande).

• Dinner reservations are required for some restaurants. If you’re in a Club Level room, contact your concierge as soon as you arrive to make your reservations as they tend to fill up quickly. If you are in a butler category, consult with your butler so they can do it for you. Those in the Luxury category, there is a food and dining represented in the main lobby who’ll assist you with this.

• All of the beaches in St. Lucia are public so there will be a fair amount of people selling tours but they are not pushy and a friendly "no thank you" is enough to let them know you’re uninterested. If you are interested, there are some good ones include the Simon Says & Joe Knows tour.

• Guests are able to walk to the village and to Pigeon Park. You can climb Pigeon Mountain for $7.00. The spectacular views are well worth it. Wear Sneakers!

As an adults-only, all-inclusive Sandals Antigua caters to couples looking for a romantic getaway. Guests can choose between a cottage in the original beachfront Caribbean Grove or a suite at the poolside Mediterranean Village. • On the Mediterranean side of Sandals Grande Antigua, the rooms are spacious and have a small balcony overlooking the Caribbean ocean. The bathroom is large with a Jacuzzi bath and a rain forest shower. One thing to note… The Mediterranean Village is set pretty far back from the beach but is only a few minute walk there.

• The beach is beautiful but not very wide on the Mediterranean side, Further down towards the Caribbean Village it opens up and there is plenty of space to spread out and enjoy yourself.

This lush property along Pink Gin Beach is a luxurious all-inclusive resort catering to couples. It’s located .5 miles from Maurice Bishop International Airport and 11 miles from Annandale Waterfalls. Sandals LaSource Grenada features well appointed chic rooms with tropical décor, in-room minibars, free Wi-Fi and flat-screen TVs; most have balconies or patios with soaking tubs. The Club Level and Butler suites are spacious and provide club access and/or dedicated lounging areas; some even have second levels and/or infinity pools with ocean views. • The diving in Grenada is excellent and some of the best I’ve done anywhere in the Caribbean even rivaling my dives in Australia on the Great Barrier Reef. The Dive Team is top notch, fun, professional, safety conscious and efficient. Unlike some of the other resorts though, at Sandals LaSource Grenada, you have to take a short shuttle to the boat.

• The Fire Pits are enjoyable and relaxing.

Sandals Emerald Bay is a secluded and sophisticated resort located on the out islands of the Bahamas. For those visiting, you’ll find yourself getting lost in the moment from the second you first lay your eyes upon one of the most incredible beaches not only in the Caribbean but in the world. In fact, Astronaut Scott Kelly called Exuma “The Most Beautiful Place from Space”. While this resort is a bit more low key/relaxed than some of the other Sandals Resorts, there are endless amounts activities to take advantage of. Our favorite tour is offsite for a visit to the island with the swimming pigs. These gentle giants will welcome you at the boat and are so much fun to feed and swim with.

• The entire resort is Club Level & Butler room categories only.

• The staff is so much fun. They enjoy looking after their guests and will make sure that your experience is exceptional.

• The restaurants are very good and there’s something for everyone here. One thing to note… reservations are required at the II Cielo (Italian), and La Parisienne (French) restaurants. Make it a point to visit these restaurants as their some of the best in the Sandals portfolio.

• The Rooms are large and well appointed.

• The mile long beach is stunning, private and relaxing. There can be some waves but it’s very swimmable.

• There are plenty of palapas and lounges.

• Water sports are available to all of the guests and includes kayaking, hobbie cats, windsurfing, snorkeling tours and scuba diving.
