We've all been there (at three in the morning, usually) where we sent that text that we wish we could take back, and now it seems that you can. Show
Think back on your illustrious texting career: some of the messages you've sent have been great, of course, but there are a few that you wish you could take back, the odd one that you regretted as soon as you hit send, but alas, they went, they were received, read and the awkwardness never really left you. Well, now there's an app that can help you with that, as Ansa is a new creation that allows you to delete messages from other people's phones. Like Snapchat, you can go 'off the record' and your messages will automatically be deleted, but if you want to delete something that hasn't been read yet, or you made an embarrassing autocorrect typo and you want to have another go at writing it, then this app will allow you to do so. When you hit delete, the message is gone from your phone, the recipient's phone and also wiped from Ansa's servers, so it really does disappear, for real. Founder and CEO Natalie Bryla thinks that this is the next step in messaging, for one main reason. She told TechCrunch that "The difference with other texting apps is that everything you say is permanent. If you think about that, you will want to use another app that allows you to talk more freely". The app also allows you to send photos and videos as well as messages, and is available on iOS for iPhones and Android in the Google Play Store Pics via Ansa.com You can hide messages and conversations or delete them from Google Voice.
