Recommended for use with all HFC refrigerants and blends; it is also compatible with R-22. NL POE can be charged into R-22 systems, running on R-22, in preparation for an HFC retrofit. Polyolester is also compatible with mineral oil and alkylbenzene providing a variety of options when retrofitting older systems to HFCs. NL POEs use the most current industry formulations that are approved by many OEMs.

What is polyol ester oil used for?

Polyolester oil is most commonly used in refrigeration compressors that utilise refrigerants R-134a, R-410A or R-12. The specific combination of R134A with POE oil as the lubricant is a standard industry replacement for R12 with mineral oil as the lubricant.
