The key to the perfect baby back ribs on the pellet grill is to cook them low and slow.  These ribs will be cooked at 225*F for about 4 to 5 hours.

Remember these will take a while to cook, do not expect them to be done early.

It’s best to get the internal temperature to about 185*F.  This is a great temperature to get a combination of ribs that fall off the bone slightly, but not completely.  This temperature makes the meat perfectly tender and it just really melts in your mouth.

I suggest doing the brown sugar rub in the recipe card or your own choice of rib rub to give them some additional flavor, then when they are cooked, add a nice layer of barbecue sauce before serving.

Let the ribs rest for about 10-15 minutes before cutting them and serving.

How long does it take to smoke ribs at 225 degrees?

Smoke your ribs directly on the racks for 3 hours at 225°F. Remove the ribs from the racks and tightly wrap them in aluminum foil. Before closing the aluminum foil pocket, pour a little apple juice, wine, beer, or any other favorite flavor (about 1/8 of a cup) into the packet to enhance the steam process.

Should ribs be smoked at 225 or 250?

The ideal temperature for smoking ribs is between 225-250 degrees Fahrenheit. This temperature range will allow the ribs to cook slowly and evenly, resulting in tender and juicy ribs. If the smoker is too hot, the ribs will cook too fast and they will not be as tender.

How long does it take to cook ribs at 250 on a pellet grill?

If you're using a pellet smoker, the cooking time for ribs will be the same as if you were using a regular smoker. Ribs should be smoked for 3-4 hours at 250 degrees. This low temperature will allow the ribs to slowly cook and develop their flavor. For best results, cook the pork ribs for 3-4 hours at 250 degrees.

Is it better to smoke ribs at 180 or 225?

The collagen and fat have not yet melted into the meat. Connective tissues will be inedibly tough. It is widely agreed that ribs are done between 180°F and 195°F.
