What was Ash Grove MO known for?Boone township abounds in natural curiosities and remarkable features. The most remarkable of these is the large cave near Ash Grove, known as Mason's Cave, than which there is no more interesting subterranean feature of the many caves, caverns and other characteristics of Southwest Missouri.
What is in Ash Grove MO?Among other things to see and do in Ash Grove are the Berry Cemetery, the Gilmore Octagonal Barn, the Phenix Marble Quarry, the 1800s Original Quarry of Ash Grove Cement Company, the Abandoned “Leaky Roof” Rail Line and the Nathan Boone Homestead State Historic Site.
