How to unblock someone on text messages

I have a BLU Grand M 5 " 8gb Android phone. I have never told it to block anything, yet it blocks incoming texts from the post office and other places (including my yahoo.com account). I have looked in settings for a way to stop it, and can't find anything. For my phone carrier, I have Metro PCS. I have unlimited texting and talking. Also, when I go to send text messages, I have to try 4-5 times to get it to go through. I have a constant 3/5 bars on it plus full WiFi bars. Can someone please help me figure out how to get my text messages? Thank you.

If you block someone, you will be able to send messages to, but not receive messages from, that person.

Step 1

Write down the number of the individual you want to unblock from sending you text messaging. Obtain this number from the person directly, or from past phone records.

Open up the text-messaging option on your cell phone. This is done by clicking the "Menu" and "Messaging" option on your cell phone, followed by selecting "New Message."

Type the number "9999" in the "To:" box. This is the text-messaging number for customer service, which allows you to block and unblock numbers instantly from sending you text messages.

Type "Unblock" followed by the phone number of the individual in the body of the message. For example, if you are unblocking 5552221212, type "unblock 5552221212" in the body of the message.

Click the "send" button to send the message to customer service. You will receive a response message from the 9999 customer service number that verifies the number was unblocked.

Tip

This process works with numerous cell phones; however, if you do not receive a confirmation text message that the number is unblocked, call your cell phone provider's customer service to ensure the number was unblocked.
