So you’re looking for some easy way to transfer high quality images from your Canon DSLR camera to your smartphone? then you’re at the right place. as you know ( or if you don’t know) there are so many ways available to transfer your images from your DSLR/Mirrorless cameras to your Smartphone, like via NFC, USB cable, etc… but the best & fastest way to share your images is via WIFI transfer. so basically, to use this option you need to connect your smartphone and DSLR camera on the same wifi network, and then via using some third-party app you can share images directly to your phone. but it’s a little bit difficult & confusing to connect your smartphone with your DSLR camera and get the images directly into your smartphone, isn’t it?? if you want to know how to transfer HD images from your DSLR camera to your smartphone or if you are facing some issues while transferring your images and want to learn then this article will help you a lot. as I mentioned, this application’s functioning is the same as Nikon and other branded cameras. if you don’t understand anything then just comment below and do let me know 🙂 here are the basic steps which you must need to follow to transfer images from your DSLR camera to your smartphone. Enable WI-FI/NFC option on your cameraFirst of all turn on your D-SLR and go into the menu option and make WI-FI enable as mentioned in this image…  as you can see there is the first option like WI-FI/NFC just make it enable to use your WI-FI. you can use NFC if your smartphone contains NFC features. using this mode you can get your images into your smartphone. Setup Your D-SLR WI-FI SettingsSo after making your WI-FI enable just go to the second option “WI-FI Function”. After selecting that option, you’ll see another two options, one to connect your smartphone or another one for web services. so I am talking about smartphones only because if you are using web services then you must need a computer/laptop. so if you’re planning to transfer images using the web then you better use your cable to transfer images directly into your system. Now you can see the DISP. general setting option so selects the DISP button. Here you can edit your nickname or you can check the errors if it’s coming while connecting at error details. after that, there is an option like Clear WI-FI settings if you want to join another smartphone then you must need to use this option. this is the stuff that makes no sense, like if you’re using a different devices constantly then you need to reset your wifi settings to just connect to another device… Then Press OK. after loading you go back to a menu. then again make your WI-FI settings enable, now register a name as you wish. Then after selecting a smartphone, you’ll get two options to choose from. one is an easy connection and another one is a select network. choose an easy connection. if you choose the second one, select a network then that feature redirects you to select the settings of a network by your choice. Now all settings are done on your DSLR, now let’s finish the smartphone process to transfer HQ images.. . Setup You Canon Camera Connect AppNow from your smartphone download Canon Camera Connect App After installing the application, open your WI-FI settings and make it on. you can see your D-SLR’s nickname. just click on it, and now enter a password. a password is the encryption key that is available within your D-SLR. here encryption key is your wifi password… after a successful wifi connection, open the application… if you followed everything which I mentioned in this article, then you’ll see something like this… basically, it’s a popup that says you’re connected to one of your cameras, do you want to access or connect to it? right now I’m just connected using one camera so it’s showing only one camera, Canon EOS 1300D. once you choose that option, at that time your camera gives some sort of popup to verify it’s you. So choose ok, and that’s it. now you can see all the images that exist in your DSLR camera just by using your smartphone. sometimes many people complain that everything is working fine, but the quality of the image is not that clear… here’s a little tip, that might help you to get clear and sharp images to your phone using the canon camera connect app… To get high-resolution images Using Canon Camera Connectto get HD images, go to settings and choose to Resize option, and click on Don’t resize… that’s all you need to choose to get original images from the Canon camera connect application… What other things you can do with the camera application?So using this application you can do live video shooting. in that case, your smartphone works as one remote and you can click better images/videos without touching your D-SLR.
