How to roll down windows in jeep wrangler

Still can’t believe our Jeep’s in 2021 don’t have auto up/down windows, my 2002 X5 came with power auto windows both up and down. I looked around the threads for something to fix this I only found one post that involved A LOT wiring and lot of work. I didn’t look in the JL forums so maybe it’s there? Anyway, I found a device on Amazon that had zero reviews and only had a few in stock so I figured I’d give it a shot, worst case I would just return.

It was very straight forward to install just follow the video posted on the sales page but fair warning it’s a bitch to get the harness to where it needs to be, they should’ve made the harness about 4 inches longer but after a 15 min struggle I was able to get it where it needed to be. Total time for install took about 45 mins.

Results are epic! One touch roll down for the rear like the front windows, ALL windows now roll up with one touch…FINALLY. I can leave the windows down, just hit you lock button on the remote and they all roll up. If it’s too hot and I want to cool down the interior I can now roll them all down with the remote as well. It’s amazing!

As a driver, the YJs and LJs were such narrow vehicles it was never an issue to simply lean over and roll down the passenger side window when you want so fresh air.

Plus, much of the time, I just leave the top and doors off anyway.
