Grilled Kabobs RecipeKabobs as they are known in the United States or kebabs as they are called in Britain. Both are the same thing meat on a skewer. With the Air Fryer, you can get skewers and a stand that fits your Air Fryer. If you do have this accessory, you can still use bamboo skewers. The accessories set contains 3 skewers so you need at least one more skewer. I used a bamboo skewer as these are thick and about the same size as the iron skewers. If you own a grill pan, use it in this recipe. You can put the skewers straight onto the grill pan so you can get those grill lines. If you do not own a grill pan no worries just use the grill stand or put the skewers in your Air Fryer pan. Air Fryer Chicken Kabobs IngredientsTo make these kabobs you need several ingredients. How long does it take to cook kabobs in the air fryer? When ready to cook, preheat the air fryer to 400F. Thread the beef, pepper, and onion onto skewers. Place skewers into the preheated air fryer and air fryer 8-10 minutes, turning halfway through until charred on the outside and tender on the inside.
Can kabobs go in the air fryer?Place the skewers in the air fryer basket, or in the tray and brush a light coating of BBQ sauce onto each piece, then season to taste with salt and pepper. For steak, I cook the kabobs at 400 degrees F for 6 minutes on each side. For the chicken, I cook them at 380 degrees F for 5 minutes on each side.
Can you put wooden skewers in the air fryer?Yes, you can put wooden sticks (wooden skewers) in an Air Fryer. As mentioned above, I recommend soaking the skewers whilst you are preparing the rest of the ingredients, then simply draining the water before you begin threading them.
How long should I cook kabobs for?Preheat the grill to a constant temperature before placing your skewers on it. Somewhere around 375 is great. Brush your kebab pieces with olive oil before placing them on the grill. Place the skewers onto the grill and cook for 12-15 minutes, flipping halfway through.
