    1. Select Payment in the menu in your Uber app.
    2. Tap Add Payment Method.
    3. Tap Venmo.
    4. Sign in to your Venmo account and tap Authorize.

                          If you have access to a balance, you can use your balance to make payments to friends. You can also use Venmo at checkout on authorized merchants' apps or mobile websites.

                          How do I pay someone with my existing Venmo balance?

                          Using Venmo balance instead of your card is easy. If you wish to pay via Venmo balance, simply select the 'Payment Method' option at the bottom of the app screen and change it to 'Venmo Balance' upon completing your transaction. Ensure that your Venmo account has been verified before using your balance feature.

                          Why can't I use my Venmo balance to pay?

                          You can't use the money in your balance to make payments on Venmo until you verify your identity. To check if you have access to your balance, tap your profile picture in the bottom-right corner, then Settings. Tap Payment Methods. If you see Venmo Balance at the top of your screen, you have access to this feature.
