Everyone loves the fun of a hibachi experience, with a talented and entertaining chef, multi-course meal, and random shots of sake.  Now you can bring the hibachi experience home to your own backyard with Hibachi Takeover!  You set the table for your guests and we’ll bring the rest.  Book a private event for your next gathering or special occasion!

HOW IT WORKS

We bring our hibachi grill and chef to your own backyard or event space. All you need to do is set up tables and chairs, and provide plates and utensils for your party. Our hibachi chef will put on a fun show while cooking a fantastic meal for you and your guests.

WHAT SHOULD YOU PREPARE

We bring the Chef, Cooking Setup, and Food. You provide Tables and Chairs for your party, positioned around where our chef will set up to cook. Also provide your guests Eating Utensils, Plates and salad bowls, and Beverages of choice. Please note we cook outside only.

We’re committed to stepping up to the plate. Our goal is to provide the full Japanese Steakhouse Hibachi dining experience right in your own backyard, and completely hands off for you. You only need to provide the space, with appropriate table settings and drinks, and we will provide the Chef, hibachi grill, delicious food, and of course some great entertainment.

We service New York City, Long Island (Nassau County and Suffolk County), New Jersey and Connecticut.  Our chefs are trained professionals with excellent reviews, guaranteed to create a memorable dining experience for you and your guests.

Chef will cook for approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes. Customer must provide and set up tables, chairs, plates and utensils. We don’t need anything else from you, we bring the rest. See below for locations specific information.

Hibachi Buffet Experience

Buffet requires a minimun of 50 guest. On-site cooking will be provided in a buffet style.

Buffet Experience includes: Steak, Chicken, Shrimp, Fried Rice, Noodles, Soup, Salad, Sauces, Tables, Chairs, Tent, Linens, Disposable Plates and Utensils.

The buffet experience allotted time is for 2hrs.

Book online to reserve your date. In order to reserve the buffet experience a $1000 deposit is required. The deposit covers: food, travel, setup and tent.

10% fee will be added for labor cost.

The Process

We bring our own hibachi grill and experienced chef to an event, while the host provides tables with plates and utensils. Each guest is able to customize their own meal. It starts with a side salad and comes with hibachi vegetables, fried rice, and 2 choices of protein.
