Steeda MaxFlow Mustang Cold Air Intake for your S550 opens up the induction system of Ford's 5.0 powerplant and allows it to breathe much more freely than the stock intake system allows, taking your S550 Mustang GT to the highest level of performance. The system comes with an oiled reusable high flow panel filter and a high flow dry filter is available separately.

Hi everybody Brian from Steeda.com here today to talk to you about the S550 Pro Flow Cold Air Intake. Our design and engineering teams worked late and burnt the midnight petroleum to bring you the best intake on the market for your S550 Mustang GT. We designed the Pro Flow Intake with a closed airbox this is really, really important because it keeps engine heat hot engine heat away from the air inlet. This will keep your intake air temperatures down and increase horsepower, increase the torque and increase throttle response. Now to put that in the numbers with our tune on our chassis dyno we're able to achieve 25 horsepower up top at the tires and 30 horsepower down in the mid-range. That's going to improve acceleration it's going to improve throttle response, going to improve the way that the car accelerates. Furthermore we've done a ton of real-world testing whether it be daily driving it up and down the turnpike, around town road trips between Florida and Georgia. We've continued to test it as well on our race cars. Our Championship S550 Road Race Car as well as the Silver Bullet that's well into the 10-second range in the quarter-mile. We were able to achieve these great results due to the use of massive inlet tube 121 millimeters, the largest on the market. I didn't have any issue installing this piece. It is a tight fit, but it fit without modification or foul language. Tuning was easy and brought up the power as expected. Good product

First of, the intake itself get 5 stars. Why only 4 stars for the review? Well, the instructions are only 50% complete. There are other pieces that came with the kit that are not even mentioned at all but are needed. By taking my time I was able to put it together. Result is amazing, car pulls even better than before. As someone else already mentioned, getting the airfilter housing back on took some force, I had to hold down the housing with a channel locker to be able to snap the clamps back on. Steeda needs to address this. Instructions: 3 star Fit: 4 star Completed install and test drive: 5 star

2018 Mustang GT PP2

My first steeda product. I check dyno numbers after every mod. Coupled with everything else, I picked up 15 hp with the insert in and an additional 20 with the insert removed. E85/catless longtube/airbox. Car made 509 hp / 461 tq on a mustang dyno.

Happy Customer

Took about an hour unrushed to remove the stock system and oem paper filter and replace with the Steeda and reflash the ecu. Would like it if it was easier with the intake clips for sure, but overall a quality system. Definitely feel a difference! Would recommend to anyone who wants the best intake without drawing in hot air from the engine bay.

Mold is less then desired i had to dremel for 45 minutes to make it work it still doesn't fit properly but its the best intake by the numbers but so far its been about 50/50 with Steeda in 2020

ProFlow Closed Cold Air Intake

I wanted to let you know that I installed the ProFlow Closed Cold Air Intake on my 2015 Mustang GT. The only mods to the engine is CAT back Corsa and the new ProFlow cold air intake. I took it over to the DynoComp to get it tuned. The numbers were impressive. 8 pulls resulting with 459 rwhp and 419 ftlb at the wheels on 91 octane.
