The Blue Heeler, unlike the Australian Shepherd, does originate from Australia. A local man imported Scottish Collies and the Smithfield dog, and bred them with his domesticated dingoes. Temperament

One of the hardest workers you’ll ever employ, and you’ll only have to pay him in treats and belly scratches. Just be warned that he may try to herd strangers, small children, or other pets.
