Notes: Soft easy drinking lager with a creamy smooth Saaz/Lublin hop accent. A homage to Detroit area polish immigrants that craved the beer from the homeland while they powered the industrial revolution.

Love Kowalski skinless franks with sweet relish. Purchased due to collab. Very crisp and refreshing with some hop. Top tier euro pale for sure.

Good taste fair amount of hops, bread aromas as well...Medium-bodied with a crisp & refreshing feel to it. It's from a Brewery in Jackson, Michigan may need to make a field trip? Made for a (Kowalski) meat company in Detroit! Only in 12oz cans. Overall it's OK, it's is very drinkable but not to memorable. Just Kowality for a 100 year birthday.

Very Detroit beer. I like it though, polish lagers have a bit of more bitter taste but still very easy to drink, light on stomach. Really cool can design, and something I would buy again.

1 PINT can
Served in a pilsner glass

This beer pours pale yellow and is topped with a couple inches of off white head that leaves decent lacing.

It has a light grain/cereal aroma.

The taste is super clean. I get light grain with light earthy hops.

Medium to light bodied with a slightly chalky mouthfeel

This is an easy drinker with no off flavors. I could pound these like a Tijuana hooker.

Pours a straw yellow color. Completely clear. Thin white velvety head dissipates quickly leaving almost no residual head.

Aroma has notes of light Pilsner malts, hints of white bread and some light herbal and lemon grass notes from the hops.

Taste follows the nose with come light cracker and white bread malts. A touch of peppercorn and a rolling grassy, herbal hop flavor with a touch of lemongrass. Finish is crisp and somewhat terse.

Feel is light, supremely drinkable, crisp and refreshing. Prickly vibrant carbonation.

Overall a really nice beer - spot on for the style and a nice showcase for the hops. I grabbed this while on vacation in MI and I’d happily grab it again when we’re back.

Pours a pale yellow color with a foamy white head that lasts quite a while. No discernable aroma. Taste is clean and crisp with a slight hoppy bitterness. Light mouth feel but easy drinking.

Poured from can to nonic pint glass. A finger of soapy foam rests atop deep yellow liquid. Attractively effervescent. Nice crack and bread aromas tinged with herbal, grassy hop notes. Just like a nice Euro lager should. Nice bready and crackery backbone with floral, grassy and peppery hops. Nice clean, slightly bitter finish. Carbonation is prickly on the tongue.

16 ounce can into lager glass, canned on 7/13/2018. Pours crystal clear medium golden yellow color with a 1-2 finger dense and fluffy white head with fantastic retention, that reduces to a nice cap that lasts the whole glass. Dense soapy lacing clings on the glass, with a fair amount of streaming carbonation retaining the cap. Fantastic appearance. Aromas of cracker, white bread dough, toasted biscuit, peppercorn, and herbal/grassy earthiness. Damn nice aromas with great balance of pale malt and light-moderate earthy hop notes; with good strength. Taste of big cracker, white bread dough, toasted biscuit, peppercorn, and herbal/grassy earthiness. Light-moderate herbal, grassy, peppery bitterness on the finish. Lingering notes of cracker, white bread dough, toasted biscuit, peppercorn, and herbal/grassy earthiness on the finish for a good bit. Great robustness and balance of pale malt and light-moderate earthy hop flavors; with a great malt/bitterness balance, and no lingering hop astringency after the finish. Fairly crisp/clean finishing. Perfectly clean on lager flavors, with zero fruity/yeasty notes present. Light-moderate increasing dryness from bitterness and carbonation. Medium-high carbonation and medium body; with a very smooth, creamy/bready/grainy, and fairly sticky mouthfeel that is great. Touch of lingering resins. Zero warming alcohol as expected of 4.6%. Overall this is an excellent Euro pale lager! All around great robustness and balance of pale malt and light-moderate earthy hop flavors; very smooth, crisp, clean, and refreshing to drink with the modestly bitter/drying finish. Very flavorful and not watery for the ABV. Very clean and rich pils malts, with balancing Saaz/Lublin noble hops. A very enjoyable offering, and spot on style example. They really nailed it, one of the best pale lagers I've had in a while.
