★★★☆☆ Joshua BorrowmanWent to Texas Station for Thanksgiving dinner. Got there at about 5pm. The service inside the Grand Cafe itself was very sub par. After being seated, it took ten minutes for someone to come take our drink order, and then the server did not bring any straws. I got and asked the manager, who was in a suit, to get some straws, he said he'd send someone over with them, but that process took another ten minutes. The waitress eventually told me that she was actually a hostess filling in, and that a majority of the waiting staff called out sick, explaining the poor service. The food itself was excellent and high value, a plate of Thanksgiving feast being around 12 dollars. The casino itself is large and well laid out, with a variety of games and stores and other attractions. Overall I enjoyed my experience but the service in the Grand Cafe itself was not up to the standards usually held by the casino itself. Show
