I'm pretty sure that it is faulty and I'm tired of taking it to the shop. I think its a pretty easy fix although I have not attempted it before. Some ideas would be greatly appreciated. Thanks. 07-03-2010, 04:28 PMJoin Date: Mar 2007 Location: AB/BC Posts: 3,098 07-03-2010, 04:42 PMJoin Date: Jul 2010 Posts: 2 Likes: 0 Received 0 Likes on 0 Posts Quote: Originally Posted by brickie That's the code it's throwing. Hey man, I know it's been a while but I think the Camshaft Position Sensor is bad on my truck. What code was your truck throwing, and what symptoms was your truck having to lead you to believe it was bad? My truck is throwing a P2614 code which is the "Camshaft Position Sensor Circuit/Open". When it's idling or driving at a steady speed (not accelerating) it will surge or stall for a half second, and then start back up again right away. Was this the issues you were having? And if so, did the new sensor correct it?
