I have a 2002 Honda civic ex coupe manual transmission will this fluid work in it and how many quarts will it take to replace it

It will work and between 2-3 quarts. Very easy to do. Look up a youtube video for a walkthrough. My recollection is I was to fill it until it spilled out. I believe my 02 RSX type S took just over 2 quarts.

I used this MTF because it was recommended by several (Honda Certified) Mechanic personnel to use for my Civic due to the extra additive to help protect the internal moving parts. At the time there were 2 different MTF, designed for older cars and the other for the newer cars. My civic requires 1.9 quarts. Verify if your Civic will require 1.9 quarts. Different generation may have different capacity how much to fill the Trasnmission.

Yes, this fluid will work. Generally a transmission will take up to 2 quarts to fill but, for your vehicle, you may want to purchase 3 to be on the safe side.

is this synthetic? The guy at the Honda parts dealer said no??? its been working fine, first gear is better !

Yes and abot 3 qts. Change every 45-60K
