The guides were perfect for the job, but I could not install them. The guides inside my car door regulator were hidden to my eyes, and I could not even see them, much less use a C clamp inside the door cavity to get to them. So after dismembering my car door panel, with all of the electrical connections, and the tools I needed and purchased to remove the inner door panel etc, I concluded this job on the Cadillac door belonged to the pro, not to me. Even though I have done this job on other vehicles, it was not possible to do on my 1994 Cadillac Fleetwood Brougham driver side door. I was glad I had these guides, however, because I avoided paying the shop $8 for each of the 3 guides that had to be replaced. Yes the guides are very well priced and they fit perfectly in my car door window regulator track. Buy it. Reviewed in the United States πΊπΈ on January 5, 2021 It worked on my 1995 Impala SS, both front windows. I did have to make some alterations with a sander to make it easier to install. This was brought to my attention on youtube. Reviewed in the United States πΊπΈ on May 21, 2017 Worked for my 1996 Caprice Classic. The window mounting pop rivets on mine had 1/2" extrusion left on them. Had to use an air grinder and pointy-end wheel to grind one flush. Then my track's crimped end was VERY hard to open, and had to be opened about 1.5" to get new slider in. I just left it opened, as I could not crimp it back again. Very difficult on the front ones to use 3" c-clamp to press them in, even with a little grease to help. Had to use both hands to stabilize AND turn the clamp simultaneously, using the top-front access hole in the door. THIS IS NOT A FUN JOB. Reviewed in the United States πΊπΈ on March 5, 2021 this slide guide, very cheap make the glass of the window works

Reviewed in the United States πΊπΈ on August 1, 2018 Worked well on my 94 impala ss.Repaired two windows in about 2 hr.s. Reviewed in the United States πΊπΈ on December 5, 2016 Item pictured does not match what i received but they still fit and got the job done. 1995 Buick Roadmaster Reviewed in the United States πΊπΈ on July 11, 2019 The guides were slightly to wide. Maling it a bear to get them installed. |
