Well, if you have all the books, look at them.
As Harry becomes a man, the series also matures from a children's novel to an adult novel, you can even see it in the thickness of the books as they progress.
It's all great, and i liked the first book/movie for its whimsical introduction. It's what got me hooked, and I think it's an ok favorite to have.

Hi guys, I'm new to the fandom and I'm really excited to start watching the series cos I've heard it's really good. However I'm a little overwhelmed by the number of films in the series so I was wondering if there is a specific order I should be watching them in. I started watching Goblet of Fire and i'm honestly a little confused as to what's going on. I am a big Dream smp enjoyer which means I am used to massive jumbled timelines so I'm fine to persevere but some help would be appreciated. thanks!
I'm sure each and everyone of us has a special place in their heart for the first HP movie. The first time I watched it I was about seven, and it was only a few months after I had read the first book, but I didn't make the connection that the movie I was watching was that book. Must have been tired. Anyway, it's a fond memory for me because it's one of the only memories I had of my foster sister, who was moved to a different family a few months after. I was sitting on her lap and the whole family watched the movie together while it was on ABC family for one of those marathons. Share your story!
-Damn, Daniel Radcliffe was a great kid actor (he had really noticeable control of his face and expressions) -The cinematography was out of the world (the lighting when Harry was hiding from Filch in the library = TOP NOTCH) -The soundtrack gave me goosebumps -This movie was really good at showing the expanse of Hogwart’s grounds (in a bright, kid-friendly way). -Dudley was still the (spoiled) worst. -Was Draco’s hair lightened back then or was he really that neon blond? -OG Dumbledore’s voice is an ASMR dream. -Snape’s first entrance into Potions class should be in a museum. -The adrenaline rush of 1st year Qudditch: BAR NONE. -I even enjoyed Quirrell’s hammy performance (should have known what was to come with Goblet of Fire).
This was a really well put together movie.
(Obligatory apologies; I’m on mobile.)
Welcome to r/HarryPotter, the place where fans from around the world can meet and discuss everything in the Harry Potter universe! THere are quite a lot of Harry Potter movies on Netflix, but the first in the series can only be seen in a few countries, including Hungary, Poland, Slovakia, Slovenia, Bulgaria, Serbia, Spain, Costa Rica, and Turkey. Now, those are not the most typical nations for those who want to bypass geo-blocks. As a result, not many VPN services support any of these countries.
But, based on my knowledge, the (only) solution for this now is to use SurfsharkVPN and connect to a server in Poland. This VPN should help you access Polish Netflix (and content in more than 10 other countries).
You can read more about SUrfsharkVPN here,
or you can visit the SurfsharkVPN website right here.
You can later watch all the other Harry Potter movies on Netflix as well using the same method, so if you are falling in love with the books now, it will be nice to be able to watch the movies on Netflix one by one after you have finished reading the books (if you decide to go for the books first, then the movies).
