2006 saab 9 3 aero front lip spoiler

Hey guys!

It's about that time for me to replace that front lip spoiler on my '06 Aero. It just sits so low that it hits everything. Or my driving just sucks.:cheesy:

I'm seeing prices of the spoiler unpainted are 200-250 and then there's paintwork too. I'd hate to spend all that for something that will get dinged up almost immediately.

Any suggestions on aftermarket spoilers? Or should I just stick with stock one? Or possibly just go with a Arc or Linear spoiler to avoid having it sit so low?

Look up A-Z Performance Saab, they have a really awesome carbon fiber front lip. I'm going with their bumper eventually. Just my 2 cents

Shipping the lip to the US is like 125 dollars

I have a black Aero and sprayed up the spoiler with truck bed paint. Bit more elastic and easy to touch up.

I have a 06 Aero in black. I picked up my replacement from eEuroparts at a reasonable price. For the paint, I did it myself. Go to Napa auto parts, they have a paint department. Give them your paint code and ask for a spray can mixed for that color with clear coat added. Scuff up the spoiler with a fine scotch brite pad and then wipe it down with acetone or alcohol to remove any oils and contaminant. Spray in long smooth motions. Let it dry overnight. I wouldn’t do a body panel with this but for a spoiler, it looks factory from about five feet away. You’ll also have some left over so you can touch up when you inevitably scratch it up again.
