Crown Automotive Hazard Flasher Relay Reviews
Used on a 2005 wrangler with LED tails, and bulbs in front signals
I researched and found this relay was the best and a lot of people replaced other relays with this one. So far it works great! The previous one I purchased for my LEDs only worked a month and quit!
worked perfect to correct rapped flash with led lights

Questions
will this relay also work with OEM tail lights. I currently have a rapid flash with regular bulbs.
Yes this would work, but if you are getting a rapid flash with standard bulbs then you may have a marker or other bulb out on a corner that is causing that.
is this for correcting hyper flash on an '03 TJ? switching to LED front and rear. TIA ~Rich
Yes this would be the correct flasher for the addition of LED tail lamps
Will this work with led taillights

May 30, 2010 I have got a new Flasher relay (its a little black square with metal prongs on it) I have took the panel off under steering wheel I can see in there but cant find the location of it to pull it out and pop the new one in. Can anyone help me???? There is a plastic cover that goes around igition area I can put down on it but cant seem to pop it off. Is it in
that area of more in the area like behind dash board???? The panel I took off under the steering wheel lets me see under the dash board well. Thanks

Thats listed as a 2000 wrangler in that article. I forget what year but they moved the flasher relay.
See the big overly shiny white sticker? that's wrapped over the relay

I got to figure out how to get that cover off that covers the top of steering so its under there???? I dont see any screws holding that cover. I can pull on it and some of it will flex down but cant seem to get it off to get to the relay.... Dont know if this matters but mine is a RHD (Right Hand Drive) mail delivery wrangler.

I have read where alot of these go out and have to be replaced. I have started delivering in a new area that bumpy VERY BUMPY I mean ruts and holes everywhere on these dirt roads. I thought I might had knocked something loose..lol

This picture shows the bottom shroud, notice the catch tabs that hold the top half on. The bottom should have 2 screws underneath that hold it on (also visible), remove them first then squeeze the sides in and the bottom will come off leaving the top free as well. My hand is on the steering wheel side of the shroud. I don't know for sure but it should be
the same for RHD. btw have I mentioned how much I love pollen?

It is in the same spot as the picture Demp posted. You have to pull the bottom and top shroud from the steering column, then pull the blinker/light/wipers multi switch. It is on the back of the Turnsignal multi switch...
