The Far Cry 6 Desert Eagle is one of the best sidearms you can get in Yara. In order to get your hands on it, you’ll need to complete the ‘The Last One to Leave’ Yaran Story side quest, found in the very north of the map. In this guide, we’ll run you through how to complete the quest, so you can get the Desert Eagle in Far Cry 6.
How to Get the Desert Eagle in Far Cry 6 – ‘The Last One to Leave’ Quest Guide
First off, you’ll need to make your way to the northwest corner of Esperanza, the capital of Yara at the very north of Far Cry 6’s map.
‘The Last One to Leave’ is a Yaran Story, marked on your map with a purple diamond icon.
When you get here, you’ll find a note in an orange box. Read this, and you’ll now need to activate three switches linking to the locked door of this building.
The first of these can be found in the blue house near the sea.
Head inside, crouch through the small gap to your left. Follow the path around you’ll find the switch you need to turn on in the last room on the wall.
Be careful, though, as the room is constantly filled with poison so you’ll have to be quick, or turn it off with the wheel by the large yellow container outside.
Next, follow the other electricity line to the water tower. You’ll need to climb onto the roofs of the nearby buildings here, and then jump onto the section of the water tower where the blue material is hanging down.
Activate the switch at the top, and then return back to the original house.
From here, look for the light blue/ mint green colored house and go inside.
Interact and turn on the radio, then the TV, and finally the picture of the house on the beach on the wall in this room.
Doing this will open a hidden door, and inside you’ll find the third and final switch you need to turn on.
Return back to the house you found the original message, head inside, and open the chest inside. You’ll now have the Far Cry 6 Desert Eagle.
