Flight attendants were amazing!

We were about 45 min late leaving waiting on peoples luggage. That made me extremely late getting home. It was extremely inconsiderate for everyone.

Love Southwest. Plane is clean and staff is helpful and very friendly. Flights are smooth and boarding is easy.

The entire flight was smooth, from take off to touchdown.

I think the airline wanted to avoid saying the flight was delayed. We waited 30 minutes while Lined up at the gate for the crew to arrive and get on the plane, then have us bird the plane. Then we were delayed because there was a “problem with the numbers” which appeared to refer to not knowing how many people got on board. That took over twenty minutes with us sitting at the gate before leaving. When we arrived in Denver nearly an hour late, the captain said our “gate is occupied.” And we waited another twenty minutes on the plane, parked, waiting again. Wish they were more transparent. Not the worst thing in the world, but the flight attendants could have been nicer considering the circumstances. But they were frustrated too it seemed. Love southwest, but when this review was asked it comes after a tough flight the night before with three kids and a planned layover that got extended without being clear about it. The flight status was always “on time.”

Pros: "Somehow my luggage was transferred to a plane in a different concourse in 10 minutes. Very surprised."

Cons: "That I had to literally run through the airport from gate D6 to gate C1 to make the connection. Plane was almost fully boarded so my good boarding position was useless, so ended up in a middle seat. Only made the plane because it was 10 minutes late as well. Attendants did not ask people who were not making connections to remain on board until those with connections could deplane. A woman in my row had only 5 minutes to make her connection. I'm sure she did not make it. It took 5-10 minutes to deplane from the wing seats with everyone standing in the aisle."

Pros: "For short flights Southwest is my airline of choice. I don't care about food or entertainment - and they aren't offered anyway. I like that I get 2 bags free and that there is a value to flying with Southwest. This flight happened to have a salty crew - which is unusual - but it was late and we were delayed due to runway issues at SLC. Outside of that, it was a perfect flight because I got home safe and sound! Thanks Southwest. Lauryn"

Cons: "Horrible flight. On one of the newer planes (trays in arm rests) A 'customer of size' came in on the tail end of boarding and was seated next to me. The problem is that on bulkhead seating, the arm rests don't move up so it looks like they're sitting ON the armrests which means I'm leaning into the aisle and the person by the window is squeezed. However, other seats (middle) exist and no accommodation is made. There's also a policy that a COS procure an extra seat, for their comfort and comfort of others. Guess not, and when pointed out, the FA shrugged and asked if I want to move. Sorry, but I bought business select because I wanted a certain seat (get off fast, aisle, leg room). So instead of recognizing the policy, instead of making sure the COS is in a comfortable seat, instead of asking someone else to move where the armrests can be lifted, etc. She gets to sit nearly on the arm rests and negatively impact (aka wrecked) the flight of two business select customers (A4 and A2) Really?!?"

Pros: "I really enjoy the playful approach to interacting with customers. Flying is already stressful given the seating size, the potential for delays, and the cost. The concept that allows you to sit where you like is really nice. Next to the playful, friendly approach to interactions, the ability to choose seating is my second favorite. No games with baggage pricing is refreshing."

Cons: "My flight was delayed because an attendant had to be swapped out, then the replacement was stuck in traffic for an hour (why not have all attendants ready on-airport?). Comically, we taxied on the runway for over an hour, which caused more delays with the plane needing to be de-iced. Figured I'd put all that behind me, but then the flight experienced one of the worst turbulences I've been in. We jerked through the skies many times, and the pilots weren't reassuring. Thankfully we landed okay, but not after being late by multiple hours. Also, JetBlue needs to invest in its planes, esp. its Couch section. I felt like a pretzel with on room to breathe."

When I boarded and settled in, a flight attendant was crushing Ice for about 30 minutes and the flight crew in the back was really loud during the flight when most of us were trying to sleep."

Even though gate attendants knew they were on their way, attendants refused to let us board until the crew was all on board. Then we had to wait some more....... Also they were lax on pre-boarding announcements, not letting families with children on first. And waiting until each group was fully boarded before announcing the next. Plus the enunciation of various announcements was difficult to understand and/or way too fast. It wasn't funny."

I was offered neither and we only received chips 1+ hour into the flight. One of our TVs broke and the crew wasn’t helpful in an alternative... Overall worst Jetblue exp I’ve had to date, and I’ve flown with them a lot due to my Mosaic status.."

Cons: "When I arrived at JFK after 14 hours long flight on Emirates, the service counter was understaffed with 1 hour long lines! Un-acceptable! Especially, since all I needed is to re-print my boarding pass, because US TSA would not accept the boarding pass printed by Emirates in India. The kiosk would not recognize my name on reservation! The kiosk did not recognize my recently issued US passport! Bloody annoying! Only able to print the pass after keying reservation code - yet, again not acceptable! The other, earlier attempts should have recognized me and found my reservation! Very upset with quality of service on the ground!"

Pros: "The atmosphere was just right for flying except when I entered the Aircraft I was totally turned off when I encountered a woman and her child and her carry-on pieces was already established in my seat 2A. She did move when I requested but what got me annoyed she had me locked in my seat because all her belongings remained in the passage way making it difficult to make my way to the restroom. IN MY OPINION THIS WAS A SAFETY HAZARD. I had every reason to suspect that she is known to the captain because he came to greet her. ERROLD"

Pros: "The crew was great, and so was a JetBlue pilot dead-heading in the seat next to me. I liked the space in the MoreSpace seat I paid for. I relieved that the upgrade seat came with boarding in the first group. Some airlines you pay for the seat, but you're still group 3 or 4 and, meaning all sorts of anxiety about the most miserable part of any flight, the dreaded fight for the overhead bins, wondering it you'll have to check the bag and then wait for it at the destination. Thank you for removing that."

Pros: "Seating is spacious, food was okay, entertainment was sufficient but not the best. Overall I was impressed with Jet Blue and will most likely fly with them again in future."

Cons: "Didn't like a huge argument taking place between one family which held the flight up by at least 30 minutes. The crew were very patient with this family, but the passengers were not. I think the family should have been removed and asked to take another flight so that my flight could leave on time. It made everyone very nervous because we didn't know to what extent this conflict would escalate, so we had to sit listening to 3 or 4 members of the family arguing and constantly removing passports from luggage and going back and forth in and out of the plane. One member of this family actually entered the cockpit, which unnerved me because of the risks with terrorists these days. The family appeared to be of muslim descent."

That flight was delayed the following day. Was diverted to Baltimore only to find out only some of us on our flight are getting out by a rude agent. Then no information at all. Had to run to catch an amtrak. Later found out if I stayed I would have stayed another 13 hours in Baltimore. Missed work and had no one home to take care of my family. Oh, and travel insurance will not cover anything. The plane itself was falling apart. Seat was broken and dirty. Everyones lights were broken and it smelled."

Cons: "We were seated behind a woman who brought a sick cat into the flight. The stench of cat feces was overwhelming. When we addressed it with the staff, they were incredibly rude. I also shared that I had a very significant cat allergy. The staff continued to be incredibly rude, and eventually offered a single seat in the back, which would not accommodate the two of us. The woman next to us also expressed her extreme discomfort and was condescended and disrespected, as well. Shocking, miserable experience."

There was a chilld who sat behind me that kick my chair the entire time and stuck his hands in between which where sticky in between the seat over and over again grabbing me he was loud and sick with what seem to be a cold and kept touching me though the seat would not listen to the adult that was with him i understand that he is a child but this went on the entire flight which was over five hours my back is still not ok .. snacks where serve late into the filght once.. staff was not friendly..."

And you couldn't even turn the damned thing off so it glowed in your face all through the overnight flight. In short, a terribly boring 6.5 hours aloft in terribly uncomfortable seats."

Cons: "Our flight was delayed three hours because of air conditioning malfunctioning on the plane. We sat on the tarmac for almost two and a half hours, and it must have been around 85 degrees on the plane. There was a lot of miscommunication about whether we would be switching aircraft. They finally told us to deplane because we were probably going to switch planes. After 15 minutes in the terminal, we reboarded the same plane. Got to LA 3 hours late so had to deal with horrible rush hour traffic, which we had hoped to avoid had we taken off on time."

Cons: "1) The time of this flight is a bit much. I understand that it is close to my home but I know if Jet Blue adds 1 or 2 more flights, they would totally get booked up. The leaving JFK at almost midnight and then the time difference is horrible. 2)This flight had a child that got sick and we were delayed about 40-45 mins. Totally worth it but it made for an even harder time getting in at almost 630am PR time. 3) The turbulence was horrible. We were warned but so many customers were getting sick. Its was unpleasant to say the least."

Cons: "Flight was delayed over 5 hrs. Not the airline's fault but waited in the help line for over an hr before the agent told me there was no earlier flight I could be placed on - she was incorrect. Pointed out that there was another flight that had also been delayed and therefore hadn't left yet - she agreed, put me on standby. At the gate, the boarding crew did not know what they were doing. The plane was 20% empty but crew made situation very hectic by giving standby passengers seats, taking them away, and then realizing there was actually enough room on the plane. Crew was friendly but incompetent in terms of problem solving."

Cons: "TSA held me up with a 30 minute bag check so I arrived for an 11:30 AM flight at 11:16 AM. I was told that because I was a minute late they wouldn't let me on even though the plane was still in the runway and connected to the terminal. I asked to speak to a supervisor and the agent disappeared for 10 minutes while the plane took off. I then went to go speak to a customer service agent who wouldn't even look at me while I spoke. She actually started listening to and talking with another agent while I was talking to her. Then when I was finished, she started arguing with me until another agent said "he's not worth it." JetBlue just lost my business."

Pros: "It was easy boarding! Attendants were nice and efficient. Made excellent time by arriving early. Flew round trip. Departing CHS late but arriving early at JFK. I will definitely fly JetBlue again"

Cons: "We needed to wait for "just a few minutes." The Captain said. Then, no other communication at all and we left over an hour late for a 45-minute flight, no explanation. I hate when they leave you in the dark and aren't upfront. The connection from Emirates to JetBlue we had was almost impossible. Two healthy adults, arriving on time in NYC with two hours to make a connection. With walking as fast as possible and not even going to the bathroom, we barely made the flight. Customs. Change terminals. Go through security again. ridiculous."

Pros: "The people who worked there were professional. The other passengers were nice."

Cons: "The seats, even the upgraded ones, didn't recline sufficiently to let my head drop back. This meant that for a period of four plus hours, I was stuck in an incredibly uncomfortable sitting position -- tilted slightly forward, via the placement of my head. And it also meant that the only way to try to sleep was by pitching forward over the tray, hunched forward in a way that didn't allow me to breathe fully. I tried slouching down, and it didn't help. The way that the lumbar was positioned also pushed me forward. The pillows were too small to lift my head much off the tray. Perhaps it's my height and weight. If I was shorter or taller or thinner, my options might have increased. Regardless, if the airlines are going to squish us together, they might consider how to give us some flexibility with regards to placement of back rests, like we have in cars -- adjustment of lumbar curve."

Cons: "I was disappointed in the boarding, I traveled with my young daughter and infant son and when they announced those who require additional time, handicap assistance,etc I proceeded to board then all these other folks also jumped up skipping me and my children when it was not their turn. And the gate people allowed them to do so I had to be the one to say excuse me we were here 1st. On top of that when we landed back in NY I heard my stroller get tossed and discovered when I got home it was broke. So upset!!!"

I never took this flight and was never able to cancel it in Kayak’s system! I will never book through Kayak again. The flight was probably fine. Next time I will only book with the airline directly. I would caution anyone else to do the same.

Cons: "Delays, delays, delays... first class ticket from BOS to MSP got me a 6 hour delay and a middle seat in econ main cabin at the back of the plane. Delta you suck!"

Pros: "Got to London on-time (early, actually) and safely. The in flight meal was okay. The leg room in comfort plus was great, the mobile app was awesome, and the staff (check-in, gate, cabin and flight deck) were professional and friendly all around."

Cons: "The leg room was great, but as a broad-shouldered guy, the width of the seat was miserable. Unfortunately, the Delta 767 doesn't offer any upgrade for a wider seat beyond Delta One, and my employer won't spring for that. Too bad there isn't a premium economy option. Also, the entertainment unit in the seat next to mine malfunctioned, which you wouldn't think would impact me that much except that because it was "seeing" touches randomly throughout the flight, the screen would turn on, off, brighter, dimmer, play random stuff, and just generally be as annoying as possible to everyone nearby throughout an overnight flight."

Flight was delayed 45 minutes because a flight attendant was running late and then to top it off, at the end of. The flight the attendants blocked anyone fromaim cabin from leaving until all of first class had departed, even when no one was coming they still Blocked it off. This is a practice I have never seen on delta and haven't seen in aviation in almost 20 years in the US"

The seats seemed comfortable at first, but actually hurt my tailbone pretty quickly, while the 17 hour flight we took next did not. Tray tables are the folding kind and a bit awkward. We were in the last row by the bathrooms and our seats didn't recline at all. You had to pay for any kind of snacks other than a little bag of pretzels and a package of cookies. We were in one of the last two boarding sections, and the woman letting us on the plane tried to make us check out carry-on luggage, stating that the overhead bins were full. Well, we didn't want to be without our bags for the next 24 hours, so we argued and she let us "try" to bring them on. There was PLENTY of room back there! It's just the standard line they feed, apparently, so beware if you're sitting in the back of the plane!"

Cons: "From the get go it was an awful experience ... I travel with an emotional support animal as does my husband because we don't do well with flying. I have anxiety to the max about it & my husband gets ulcerative colitis flare ups any time he's stressed out which is usually while we fly and having our dogs with us turkey makes us feel better. When I called to tell them over the phone we would have our emotional support animal I got an attitude as if I hadn't been doing this for the last 4 years. She reiterated to me that we needed in addition to the letterhead from the doctor a form filled out (which we both did ) . Brought to the airport and sit had to sit at the counter like the girl didn't know what she was doing. Fast forward to finally getting to the gate after being stressed and our flight was delayed. This now only made our 50 min layover in DC 20 min by the time we landed. We ran from one gate to the next hoping we wouldn't miss our flight and when we got there they wouldn't let us on the plane saying things like "your dogs are not on this flight" "there is no documentation" "well then you must not have the right paperwork" ... in front of a bunch of people in line, out of breath, and now embarrassed I am forced to take out my folder and give them all the paperwork I had just given to the customer service desk before our first flight. They let everyone on the plane and still made us stand there and finally said "just go but your dogs aren't on this flight". Fast forward AGAIN to sitting on the flight the flight attendant comes over and says "guys where's you carrier the dogs need to be under the seats" .. we peoceeded again to explain for the seventh time that they were emotional support animals ... she then proceeded "no they are not they are not even listed on this flight" at this point I'm EXTREMLY embarrassed because people on the plane are paying attention and drawing attention to us but not only that ... I have been doing this for years .. I ALWAYS have the proper documentation as does my husband and we have never ran into this kind of disappointment and embarrassment from any airline until now. I was so stressed out to begin with and this deffinately didn't help ... nor did it make us wants to fly on American again. I felt pushed aside, embarrassed, and belittled by multiples employees ... all because the first employee clearly made a mistake and didn't document things correctly ... that should have never been put on us ."

Cons: "One of the few things SouthWest, Alaska & United did was the proper queuing of people to get into the plane. AA is a free for all - those who follow regulations will fall behind. In this flight from Boston to LAX - I heard there were 80 Priority checking - are you kidding me. Group 1 does not help if I have 80 Priority seating and one family took 12 people in with one elderly. It's good to place Elderly and Military up front first - but to take the Whole entire family - that's not fair - you have 8 able bodies who should be in line with the rest of the crowd. Also who heard of 80 Priority check ins - normally, that's Group 1. Never flying AA unless I a desperate."

Then, when we finally got on the plane and were about to take off, the air traffic control tower called and said that their flight path was incorrect and to not take off...but didn't give them a new flight path for nearly two hours as we sat on the runway. Nationalize the airports in DC, fire the whole lot and start fresh, I'd say."

They have us all shoulder to shoulder in tiny waiting areas then suddenly we get on line to board and have to stand six feet apart and then on the plane we are squashed all together anyway. It’s all so stupid. Not having the ability to get a boarding pass from the online app or printed made me have to wait in a line 300 people long to access the kiosk and then half of them were down. Then another line maybe 500 people long just to be allowed up the escalator to where there is another line to go through exuding checks. Nuts!!! My flight was an hour and I spent three hours online getting to it!!!"

Pros: "What mede this trip so poor was that the agent at the desk informed me that as I was boarding the plane my carry on suitcase had to be checked due to limited space in the overhead bins. This is the same carry on that I have stored in overheads on literally over 100 flights including a United flight 4 days earlier. I was the approximately the fith passenger to board in group 3 and after I let her check my bag I walked on to the plane to see not only was it only one quarter full of passengers, most of the overhead bins were completely empty. So I had to go to baggage claim to get my checked bag after we landed which took almost 40 minutes. Very frustrating!"

Passengers on these tickets were not aware that they would not be served.any food which is probably unethical. They offer to sell you food if on a basic ticket"

Cons: "Changed gates 4 times and walked all over the C terminal. Waited for 2 hours on the plane at the jetway for the captain to arrive (with no water). Finally offered 1 small cup of water and 1 bag of pretzels (at 8pm)."

Pros: "The United staff and flight were great, no complaints. We arrived a few minutes too late for my partner to check in with his luggage so they even arranged it so that he would be able to still catch the flight but the luggage would be sent on the following flight. Definitely saved us from the stress of having to be split up and worried on when there would be room for him to catch an alternate flight."

Cons: "My complaints are with Newark airport (EWR). The AirTran took over 10-15min to arrive and when it finally did we had to get off and wait for another one which didn’t have space for everyone so a group of us had to wait even longer for the next one to arrive. A guy said he missed his flight last time that happened. They had more trains going to the parking lot for customers leaving the airport than they did for people catching their flights! Then there was only one security check in line, even for expedited check in. Despite allocating extra time for our overall commute, we still made it right on time for boarding so make sure to give yourself PLENTY of time when dealing with EWR."

I will be making sure someone provide compensation and takes responsibility for the monetary, emotional and time consuming disaster that has transpired. Thank you for nothing."

Cons: "My confirmation number did not work; originally my flight appeared to be through copa but then it was clear that it was part of the way on United and part of the way on copa; Was unable to check in for flight before getting to the airport; first flight was very delayed and connecting flight was not acknowledged in the delay - in other words, I was going to miss the connecting flight but was unable to get any information about re-booking; waited in the airport for 6 hours then boarded the plane and sat on the plane for 3 hours, then was told flight was delayed until the following day; eventually did take off 22 hours late; when I arrived in Quito finally my bag did not make it; they did not deliver my bag to my hotel as they said they would in the airport, instead I had to go an agency and pick it up. I missed a day and a half of seeing a dear friend I was coming here to visit and nothing can make up for that. Overall, terrible experience."

But I was on a flight before hand that was much smaller and it fit in the overhead space there. When I try to tell them that it fit in the last plane and I fit it in the example been, they still made me check it. I believe they just picked me out for no reason. It was ridiculous and the lady was very rude. The crew on the flight was very nice and I like that they fed us multiple times. Also, the flight was very cold. Even with the blanket and cardigan, we could never get warm."

Cons: "There was not much legroom. Especially when the person in front of you reclines. The menu stated they had craft beers. They did not. The Entertainment system is very old. My iPhone 7 has a larger and better quality screen. Not to mention it is based on channels like a TV so when you turn the channel it changes the already playing channels. At least Delta has large touch screens so you can choose what you want to watch and watch it from the beginning. The flight was late and one of our bags did not make it on the flight. We were happy it was on the next flight."

Cons: "They switched my preselected seat, without my permission, and gave it to a flight attendant that was traveling. I dont understand why she couldn't sit one row behind my preferred seat."

Cons: "United Express flies out of Terminal A at Newark (EWR) and routinely they do not have Precheck lanes open. Despite flying on the Saturday after Thanksgiving they only had one mixed security line open. When I asked TSA they said they simply weren't staffed to have a Precheck line open. Everyone was working diligently but this happens every time we fly United out of Newark. Traveling with 2 small children it is incredibly frustrating to have to go through the full security line, take off our shoes, and take all of our electronics out of our bags."

First off the flight attendant was so rude, whenever I asked for something or said thank you she would just stare at me and not respond. I mean I get it, it's a red eye flight I wasn't expecting anyone to be chipper. But honestly that was especially rude having to deal with her for the 6 hour trip to Madrid. Second the food was especially disgusting. The chicken was in this white sauce that looked like discharge and if taste like rubber. The bread was hard to bite into. Everything was so stale and tasted so bad I wondered how long they had that food sitting there. My last trip to Europe I flew Swiss air to Italy they had the best customer service and the food didn't taste like I was eating cardboard in jail. I am never flying united airlines to Europe again. It is too long of a trip for subpar service."

Cons: "I checked in my free bags with with my united access in the check-in counter, no issues. I stand in the gate line for Premier access and the gate crew lady asked me to go and pay for a carry on bag in a very loud voice and asked me to get out of premier access line. When I asked her to take a look at my premier access status, she said stop yelling. Then another man in a suit walks in and first word out of his mouth is not an apology, but a threatening "Don't yell". I just kept walking away from this unqualified person lest it goes out of control. United needs to do a lot better. Just because these gate crew people feel stressed out, they should not take on innocent travelers. Instead of putting a customer under a defensive position, they need to learn to respect the customer. United is training their crew in a wrong way.."

Cons: "We arrived at the Newark Airport 3 hours before our flight, arrived at our gate, as designated, 45 minutes before boarding. Nowhere around the gate, on any monitors, did we see our flight number posted. Three airline attendants, at three different desks, at our gate were all talking at the same time announcing flights. I heard our flight # announced once. My husband asked one of the attendants about our flight and they said it was delayed an hour. That was BS. We nearly missed our flight because it was boarding at that time."

Pros: "When i initially bought my round trip tickets. I chose the seating assignments for my boyfriend and i. When i got to PBI to check in, computer showed we did not have seats. When i questioned the ticket agent, she replied, "it didn't matter when you purchased tickets and it doesn't matter if you chose your seats, you can be bumped at any time". ..so after everyone boarded, then turns out my bf and i can't sit together, we ended up 5 rows from eachother, and we both have anxiety from flying. I am very disappointed with United Airlines, and will do my best not to book with them again. NOT THE FRIENDLY SKIES."

When I spoke to the person at he gate when we had to deboard, She was patient in explaining but didn't seem like she wanted to answer my questions in front of everyone else. I walked over to the United customer service desk. Wow. No sense of empathy whatsoever. They gave me the answers to my questions but I almost felt like I had done wrong asking what my options were. Never had an issue with Lufthansa. United customer service is a different story. I will try my best to avoid Lufthansa flights operated by United from now on."

When I asked customer service for more information regarding my flight, the staff was rude, did not offer a resolution or give an explanation for the delay. A little customer service could have went a long way to make the situation better. I am overall not pleased with the customer service I received and was disappointed with the delay. I don't think I will ever fly united again due to the customer service."

Cons: "Mechanical problems caused a delay in departure. United Airlines put us on another TWO flights to get us to our destination. Arrived almost eight hours after originally scheduled. Traveled across the ocean to witness and perform my niece's wedding ceremony. I am the priest who is marrying them and conducting the ceremony and the whole wedding was missed and ruined. All this travel for nothing. Very upset and dissatisfied that United airlines did not put us on a different airlines in order to ensure my timely arrival. No attempt was made to rectify the situation. This was not the itinerary I paid for! In my original schedule, I would have had plenty of time to arrive in Dublin, pick up my rental car, proceed to the hotel, get dressed, drive to the wedding site, and perform the ceremony. Because of my absence, the ceremony could not take place and everything is ruined. United Airlines could have at least offered some kind of monetary compensation or travel voucher to apologize for their mistakes. Will not travel with them again. Very very dissatisfied. Will make sure everyone knows how their issues affected my travel and tell others not to travel on United. What a terrible way to start our journey. This confirms the horrible reputation that United has earned in recent weeks in the media."

Cons: "We weren't allowed to put our carryons in the overhead. We were forced to put them under the seat in front of us because the plane was full. This left no place for our feet or stretching our legs. The seats were cramped so closely together, our knees touched the seat pocket in front of us. When putting down the tray table, it pressed against our stomachs. The landing was the worst and scariest one I've experienced in over 40 yrs of frequent flying. We hit so fast and hard that the plane teetered from one wheel to the other and fish tailed so hard that people's necks were hurt. If possible, I'll never fly United again."

Pros: "Food was very good, almost restaurant-level. Wine selection was good as well"

Cons: "While on the plane at the gate, had to wait 20 mins for someone to hang my jacket (had to ask and the person came back 5 mins later) despite the fact that the attendant immediately checked on the guy next to me when he sat down, who apparently had status with United (attendant ignored me). I guess a $7,000 fare doesn't warrant special attention. I had to ask the same attendant for other items at times, but he'd forget and I'd have to ask someone else. Also, the seats were decent yet a bit crowded IMHO. I'm 5'10" and my feet were crammed up against the front of the space when fully reclined. The width of the seat area was a bit tight as well. Finally, they have 2 heads (toilets) that serve both the business class section ( maybe 50 people) as well as the front of economy. One of the pilots was waiting at the same time as me and agreed that it was a pretty questionable layout for the number of seats covered. All in all, not my favorite airline and nothing on this trip so far changed that view."

Cons: "When all the passengers, who book the flight, cannot be accommodated, the airline should not allow booking for that flight. Having a ticket and a boarding pass to board my flight, I was still told (and was not asked if I would like to do this) to take another flight route, which would take me to my destination 5 hours later than my booking time. The complimentary vouchers is not always appreciated when the passenger is already exhausted from previous flughts, and then is told to spend additional time at the airports/flights just because the flight went overcapacity. I wish the flight staff had asked if anybody on the flight was willing to volunteer for a different flight, instead of just making the 4-5 passengers take this alternate route, all because of the overbooking. Also, the flight gate as mentioned on the boarding pass was not accurate, and the only way a passenger can come to know of the change, is if the passenger makes an effort to go verify this information. IMO, the airline should make an announcement, at the least, at the gate mentioned on the boarding pass that the gate has changed."

Pros: "I liked the new, immaculately clean plane that appeared to have more leg room between seats, which also appeared to recline more than my recent United Flights. There is enough of a demand into and out of this airport to have at least a few daytime flights."

Cons: "After having changed my seat and choosing the last row, I realized that those seats had been squashed into the remaining space in the cabin. It did not allow for as much leg room as other seats and being the last row, the seats did not incline. My own fault for selecting this row however, I wish it had been mentioned when I made the selection. Also, the entertainment was only available through an APP on one's Smart Phone. This assumes everyone has a smart phone, the correct plan and the knowledge to use said app. Too much reliance on technology when the "old way" worked just fine for more customers. The Crew was fantastic......very accommodating without being over bearing."

Pros: "Was an easy flight and staff was pleasant and efficient"

Cons: "The gate crew stopped the last 40 people from bringing on their carry on bags... of course I was the first person of the 40. When I got on the plane... there were numerous EMPTY overhead bins and further, my bag would have fit comfortably under the even more space seat in front of me. I plan my travel carefully so I can bring on the plane. They were wrong for gate checking without asking the crew ON the plane. All 40 bags would have made it. BS. Flight delayed awaiting for another crew member. Snack was mixed bag of "stuff". Would prefer a choice of name brand snacks or nothing at all. Wifi should be free. What does it cost them?"

Cons: "I am a school director and had a very important meeting, that's why I had to get to my country and I almost lost my job for losing my flight due to the airline's ineligibility. I did not like the fact that, I didn't know were to go because it was too crowded. every time I ask them to help me, they ether not answers or did not know what to tell me. Every one seen to be very confused. They have very bad costumers service. I even cut myself wile trying to put the bag into the square that they now have, to see if it can go into the airplane. I was very surprised that they didn't even excuse themselves for the inconvenient... this was a horrible experience... don't think I'll ever take this airline again. They have no organization."

Cons: "The flight was cancelled and no reasonable accommodations when I asked about a month ago to cancel and was told non-refundable or additional charges for changes"

We're paying more for flights and then they have flight waitresses trying to monetize the time you're in the air. And when I was checking in in Berlin this guy was asking me a ton of questions, but didn't ask the next 5 people any questions. When I stared at him he started asking others questions. It's really none of your business why I'm going somewhere or what I'm doing. These terrorist attacks are giving people authority they have no business having."

Pros: "Not much, except the fact that it could have been worse."

Cons: "- Cheap quality food. And less in quantity. Less options. And they ran out of meal options even though I indicated them at the time of booking. - Not so clean - Sickness bags were used ones and had something in them. Clearly, they were not replaced. Toilets didn't have basic supplies like moisturizers. Not to mention they were super cramped. - Entertainment system was out of 60s. Small LCD and were of the smallest resolution and viewing angles - made watching anything akin to watching those cam rips floating all over internet. - Cramped leg room. And the premium seat didn't have any better room. Overall, one of the poorest flights I have ever flown on. Even Air India has much better planes and service."

Pros: "Great entertainment system with lots of selections. Electrical outlets and USB port also great amenities but mine didn't work on the return flight."

Cons: "I am a small person and found the legroom to be inadequate. I paid $50 to upgrade the seats to economy plus to give us a bit more space but it wasn't any better. For a long, overseas flight, more space is needed. I had more legroom on my domestic flight with United. Also, the airline attendants for Air NZ were unpleasant and downright grumpy at times. It made a long, uncomfortable flight seem a whole lot longer. Attendants on my United Airlines leg was phenomenally more professional. Makes for a much happier passenger. Plane temperature was freezing on the return flight to LAX and oppressive on the flight from LAX to Auckland."

Pros: "Crew members were very helpful to my mum who was a disabled wheelchair passenger while on flight."

Cons: "After my mum reached her destination she was assisted outside of the plane and made her sit outside for more then 1 and 1/2 hour. She kept on asking for help as she was a wheelchair passenger but was no response. Finally after she called another passenger to go and ask for help for her somebody who was apparently on a higher position came and assisted my mum. Very very disappointed for the way she was handled as a wheelchair passenger. I had specifically called and had spoken about her attendance and was assured that she would be in good hands. Totally disappointed with the service."

Pros: "It wasn't over crowded."

Cons: "When arriving to the airport it was a bit confusing first finding where to get our connecting flight, that may have been an airport problem. But once we got to the right gate our plane was cancel or re-gated/scheduled three times. We had to walk all over the airport with less and less time to spare to make our flight out. When asking for direction or where to go we could never get a straight answer, it seem as if no one knew where to send us. I felt if I was being herded and hustled on getting a flight home, I had no choice in the matter of getting my flight out. If it wasn't for another passenger flying on the same plane we may have missed our flight all together because she was getting alerts on her phone for changes or updates. Once on the flight the air-condition was linking on one of our seat and we were first told to put a blanket over our head until take off, then we saw some empty seats so we asked to move. Once arriving at Cleveland airport we only discover our luggage had not arrived yet, not only did it not arrive we were told it had not yet left London Hethrow Airport and we would maybe get it in 24 hours. This was a problem because some of our personals we needed were in that luggage and we just had to make due and wait and see. We got our luggage the next day only for me to notice my lock was not on my luggage I do not know if this was taken off or I mistakenly left it off but I really do not think I did but I will check with the hotel to see if I left it there. I have always liked United but this really made me think on who to plan my next trip with later this year. And certainly will do my best to avoid coming through New Jersey. :("

Pros: "My flight was overbooked, and I was in one of the later boarding groups. When I got on the plane, someone else was in my seat, and apparently had been told by the crew to sit there. There were no extra seats visible. Clearly upset, a very nice flight attendant brought me back to the galley and chatted with me (not reacting negatively to my less-than-stellar attitude given the situation) while another went to "handle it." Not sure what magic she worked, but I ended up with a window seat in an exit row with lots of leg room. An unfortunate situation was handled very well and I'm really appreciative!"

Cons: "While people were waiting on delay their was no effort made to get people seat locations. When time to board their was a line of 30 people getting new seat location before they could board the plane. A seat location I had for 3 months and checked in Ft. Myers 8 hours earlier was occupied so I was told very rudely to get in line behind 30 people to get new seat location. It took over an hour to board plane before take off. There was non English speaking customers who received no help boarding plane finding seats because crew was laughing joking with other passenger. They tried to put a non English speaking passenger in exit row. I paid $25 to check a bag to find passengers getting free bag checking at gate."

Pros: "I love the check in process!! You go to a kiosk and print your boarding pass and luggage tag and then just go and hand in your bag to an agent. Soooo easy. Then no ones in line forever. I was very impressed with the little extra amount of leg space that is not always on most planes. The flight wasn't very full and the crew was kind and generous with a couple of us wanting to switch our seats around. The tvs in the back of the headrest definitely kept me occupied watching New Girl. Overall, I was very comfortable and got to my destination without getting upset or angry once...which can't be said for all airlines."

Cons: "The security line for united in Newark was RIDICULOUS! It didn't take very long to get through...maybe 30-45 minutes (which I planned for) but the line snaked through two floors and wrapped through the check in area. It just looked incredibly daunting. But I realize that there isn't really much that can be done about that!"

Pros: "Nothing. One flight attendant gave me a gingere when I was sick from landing and that was helpful."

Cons: "Compeltly ridiculous that you had to pay for every single thing. I think the only complimentary thing was cranberry juice and water. Paying for entertainment and wifi with seperate fees felt really cheap and tacky along with the plane itself. It was run down and looked and felt even more that way when you're competing with flights from companies like JetBlue where they work to make you feel comfortable and provide free entertainment. We also were an hour delayed and sat on the runway for an hour before we left due to too much traffic over Cuba. It felt as a customer that it was poor planning on the companies part and that that could have been avoided earlier. Companies that put effort into a comfortable flying experience and care about customer satisfaction will be getting my money in the future. United would be my last choice when make travel plans in the future."
