Learn about how to find transportation services for older adults, people with disabilities, veterans, commuters, and others in your community. If you receive services from a state agency, ask your agency contact person if there are any transportation services you qualify for through that agency.

Access Paratransit provides Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) mandated paratransit services for eligible people with disabilities who are unable to use public fixed route transportation systems.

Do you need a ride to your doctor or dentist? Are you unable to drive? Do you lack a car? If you don't have a car or can't drive, you can get a ride to your doctor visits. You may also get a ride if you need

In addition to the Door-to-Door transportation service provided through our Multipurpose Senior Centers, below are supplemental options to meet your transportation needs: CityRide: A curb-to-curb program administered by the Los Angeles Department of Transportation that provides transportation to older

Transportation services provide travel to and/or from community resources providing needed services or carrying out activities of daily living. There are two
categories of transportation services: general and medical. An agency may provide general or medical or both. Individuals
who are 60 years of age or older. The Division of Aging and Adult Services does not directly provide transportation services. The Division provides financial support through grant funding for local providers to offer transportation services. Click on the links below to find a local provider. Under the American with Disabilities Act, the personal care attendants may accompany eligible individuals but must have the same origin and destination as the individuals receiving the transportation service. Transporting an individual to a medical facility via ambulance is
only allowable when a person cannot be transported by another type of vehicle due to the individual's medical condition. Ambulance transportation is also an allowable service under Medicare and Medicaid in accordance with certain criteria. This service is also supported by other funding sources.
