Cypress Toy Poodles is located in southwest Florida between Naples and Fort Myers where we love, show and breed health tested AKC Toy Poodles. Though newer to Toy Poodles we have been involved in the dog fancy for many years and have bred over 60 AKC Champion Afghan Hounds, including Multiple Group and AKC and international Best In Show winners. Our first toy poodle litter resulted in two champions, both finishing from the puppy class at 7 and 8 months going Best Of Breed over multiple specials competition.
At Cypress Toy Poodles the dogs are family. Our goal is to produce healthy and happy, quality Toy Poodles. Before breeding we do DNA genetic health testing for PRA-prcd thru Optigen on all our dogs, patellas are checked by our veterinarian and we carefully consider pedigree, type and temperament. We breed black, silver and white toy poodles and have older puppies and adults available on occasion.
Our puppies are raised in the home, socialized daily by a myriad of friends and family, experience many sessions on the grooming table and travel with us to dog shows. They are carefully evaluated for good temperament and conformation, examined by our Veterinarian with accompanying certified health certificate, microchipped and when ready to leave will be well adjusted with a keen outlook on life.

Welcome to Cypress Toy Poodles. My name is Jia Miller and it is my pleasure to introduce you to my Toy Poodle family.
Cypress Toy Poodles is located between Naples and Fort Myers in Estero Florida where we love, show and breed health tested, happy, quality Toy Poodles.
I was ten when the first Toy Poodle came into my life. A tiny, black, fluff ball of joy, Freddy, better known as "Jia's Circus Dog", soon became my bed partner and the neighborhood sensation with his repertoire of tricks.
At fourteen I had a summer job helping a Poodle Breeder who introduced me to Dog Shows where I held dogs, carried crates and helped at ringside. It was then I decided I would one day return to the Dog Show fancy.
in 1969 on our second date my future husband took me to a dog show, and in 1971 we began showing Afghan Hounds under the Cypress kennel name. We bred over 60 AKC Champions including US and International Best In Show Winners as well as the record breaking Top Producing Bitch and have been involved in the dog fancy now for 50 years.
After the passing of my husband in 2010, a wonderful, silver Toy Poodle came to my rescue. Ruger became and remains a blessing and is responsible for my return to the dog show scene where our Toy Poodles are being well received.
