The walking dead season 11 release date on netflix

The Walking Dead is one of the most popular TV shows out there. The show began airing back in 2010 and is currently on its eleventh and final season of the show. Although the show’s final season has been airing since 2021, it didn’t come to Netflix for a long time. Fortunately, The Walking Dead season 11 is now available on the streaming giant.

The first eight episodes of TWD’s season 11 were added to Netflix’s library on August 22, 2022. As usual, the episodes arrived on Netflix at 12:00 AM PT/3:00 AM ET/12:30 PM IST.

With that being said, why don’t we take a look at whether you can watch The Walking Dead for free on Netflix or not in the next section of our streaming guide.

Netflix is one of the biggest streaming platforms out there. But even it has a few features lacking. Earlier, Netflix used to provide a free trial to new users. This free trial helped them in checking out and watching new shows for free. However, the streaming service has now stopped providing those offers.

So does that mean you cannot watch The Walking Dead season 11 for free on Netflix? Technically, yes. Fortunately, there are a few offers provided by telecom companies that can be used to get a free subscription to Netflix.

  1. Jio Postpaid Plans starting at Rs. 399.
  2. Vi Redx plan at Rs 1099 per month.
  3. Free year-long subscription with Verizon Fios
  4. T-Mobile will give basic and standard subscriptions at $8.99 and $13.99.

The Walking Dead season 11 part 2 and 3 Netflix release date

The final season of the long-running TV show will be divided into three parts. Currently, Netflix has added only the first part, which features a total of eight episodes in it. Unfortunately, as of now, there is no update on when the next two parts will be added to the streaming service.

That’s it from our end. What are your expectations from it? Let us know your views in the comments section below.

It might be hard to believe, but The Walking Dead is coming to an end after 11 seasons. The popular AMC series has become a staple for the network over the past 12 years, and fans of the zombie genre are so sad to see it go. Of course, the series has multiple spinoffs and more on the way, but will they capture the magic of the original show? We’re hopeful!

Over the years, The Walking Dead has told compelling stories, followed complex characters, and of course, has seen so many heartbreaking deaths. Many main actors have departed, such as Andrew Lincoln and Danai Gurira, leaving only Norman Reedus and Melissa McBride as the two actors still around from season 1.

All good things must come to an end, and some might argue The Walking Dead has stuck around longer than it should’ve. If you have yet to check out the final season, you’re probably curious when it’ll arrive on Netflix. The first 10 seasons are available to stream on the platform, but considering season 11 is still airing, it makes sense why it’s not on Netflix yet.

When does The Walking Dead end?

The Walking Dead season 11 comes to a close this month, with Episode 24 marking the season and series finale. Don’t miss “Rest in Peace” directed by Greg Nicotero when it hits AMC on Sunday, Nov. 20, 2022.

When will The Walking Dead season 11 be on Netflix?

So now that we know The Walking Dead ends at the end of the month, the million-dollar question is when the final season will be released on Netflix. If you’ve been holding out hope that you can watch season 11 on the streamer sometime this year, we’re sad to say we don’t think that’ll be the case. It’s more than likely The Walking Dead season 11 will hit Netflix sometime in 2023.

The Walking Dead season 10 came to a close on April 4, 2021, and it took a little over three months for it to arrive on Netflix. The tenth season was added to the streamer’s library on July 26, 2021. If we can expect a similar release pattern for season 11, we’ll see it on Netflix in early 2023.

But because Netflix has not confirmed anything yet, take this prediction with a grain of salt. The Walking Dead season 9 took about five months after its finale aired on AMC for it to be added to Netflix. The same happened with season 8.

We’ll be sure to update you once the streamer shares the official release date. In the meantime, The Walking Dead season 11 airs new episodes every Sunday night on AMC.

Later tonight, we’re watching the final episode of (deep promo voice) AMC’s The Walking Dead. The original series may be coming to an end, but there’s a lot more action from The Walking Dead franchise on the horizon, including a Daryl Dixon-led series, The Walking Dead: Dead City (aka the adventures of Negan and Maggie), and a Rick and Michonne spinoff. All three shows are expected to be released in 2023.

If you’re looking for answers on the penultimate episode of the series as well as a preview of the “unexpected turns” of the finale, Alex Zalben recently interviewed showrunner Angela Kang, which you can read on Decider.
