At Zola, you can customize your wedding save the dates with a favorite photo, font, or template. Personalize your invitation wording, choose from beautiful paper types (like recycled, pearlescent, and linen), add custom foil, and even make it a magnet! Q: I don't like the wording templates that you offer on the website. May I use my own wording for the invitations?
A: Yes. We will print whatever you'd like for us to print and the pricing includes this service.

Q: Can you print other foreign languages besides English?
A: Yes, it is a free service, however, we do require you to provide us with the wording before or after you place the order. You also agree to take responsibility for any mistakes, therefore we do ask you to check your wording thoroughly before submitting that information to us.
And because we don't have specific fonts for the foreign languages, some of the letters may show incorrectly. We advise that you offer us the font in your language in a TTF file to avoid any possible confusion.

Q: Can I customize the color of the font/pattern/ribbon/laser cut of the invitation shown on the screen?
A: Yes. We can customize the invitations for you according to your requests.
For Font & pattern color: If you do require a color change then you will be asked to write your color request, background, and lettering details in the special requests section. You can give us the name of the color or choose the color from our color chart. After you place the order, our designer will create your proofs according to your requests and email you proofs within 48 hours. If you want to make any changes, please email or call us back.
For Ribbon/laser cut color: Please contact our customer service ([email protected]) for a custom quote.

Q: Can you print the return address on the envelopes and the guests' addresses?
A: Currently, we can only print the return address on the back flap of the outer envelope. We currently do not offer the service of printing the guests' addresses onto the envelopes.

Q: Your website states the invitation starts from $0.79. Why is it when I add my quantity to the shopping cart, it shows a higher price?
A: Our price policy is the more invitations you order, the more affordable they each become. So, our “from xxx” price is for the clients who order more than 360 invitations. Please refer to the drop-down menu for the price of the invitation quantity that you want to order.

Q: May I change the color of the laser cut wraps?
A: Some of the laser cut wraps' colors can be changed, but an additional $30 will be charged for the customization. And please note, for the customization orders, please allow for about 12-15 days for production.

Q: Is it possible to just buy the laser cut wraps/pockets?
A: Yes. You can buy the laser cut wraps only. The price varies based on different designs. Please contact our customer service ([email protected]) for a custom quote.

When should save

As a general rule, it's best to send Save the Dates 8 to 12 months prior to your wedding (send them earlier for a destination or holiday weekend). Given enough notice, you may be surprised by the distance that family and friends will come from to be able to attend!

Do save the dates have to match wedding colors?

Save-the-dates are much less formal than your wedding invitations and definitely don't have to match them or your theme. This is your opportunity to let your personality as a couple really shine, or try out a wedding style or theme you love but are hesitant to commit to just yet.

Is it rude to send a save the date and not an invitation?

If you no longer have a relationship with them or anyone connected to them, it's true that you're not really risking anything by not inviting them. Still, a save-the-date is pretty much a promise to the recipient that she'll be invited to your wedding. There's no need to break that promise.

What size should save

The standard save the date size is a 5” x 7” card, which is an ideal size to convey your essential wedding details as well as some hints at your wedding aesthetic. However, there are many other sizes and formats available, all of which we will go into more detail below.
