Clean, modern hotel. Terrible staff.

Stayed for a week in late August for a Disneyland vacay with the kids. Rooms are tidy, overall interior feels at par with what you pay. Mattresses are 7/10 for hotel standards. Shower has swift temperature changes for no reason. The hotel is severely understaffed, esp taking into consideration that this was high season. BEWARE: cleaning personnel will grab anything you leave outside your safe. In my case, wait for it…they stole a pair of sneakers! You read that correctly. After 6 very polite and eloquent calls with both housekeeping manager and lost & found people, they recklessly covered for the cleaning personnel that took them. This has never happened to me at a hotel, and I’m still flabbergasted that this happened at a Marriott. Still considering filing a police report. TL;DR: Stay at the Hyatt across the street if similar rate.

Given a different room type than booked. Hotel lacked transparency and blamed the booking site.

We booked a 2 Queen Suite at this hotel though an online booking service, as we've done previously. When we arrived at the hotel, we were told the actual room that was secured was a 1 King Suite. We protested that this was incorrect, but the hotel assured us they were not mistaken and that there was nothing they could do about it. It was late, with small children ready for bed, so there was no time to get into the nitty gritty. The next day, we contacted the booking site to complain and they assured us that what the hotel told us was in error and that a 2 Queen Suite had indeed been secured. They called the hotel and said they confirmed this with Juan. They told us the hotel had put us in the incorrect room. When we brought this up with the hotel, they insisted it was incorrect. They refused repeated requests to provide any evidence for what they continued to maintain: that the original booking was for a 1 King Suite (and thus the booking site's fault). We spoke to multiple front desk agents and even the manager Gloria, but all they could do was say, in essence, "trust us; it's the booking site's fault, though we can't show you anything that indicates that." The hotel refused to show what room type the booking site had secured with them, putting the blame on the booking site and telling us that our only recourse was through the booking site. This senseless lack of transparency suggests that the hotel put us in the incorrect room, but wouldn't take accountability for it. As a matter of coincidence, the freezer in our 1 King Suite broke on the second day and we were moved to a 2 Queen Suite the remainder of the stay (what the hotel said was a "complimentary upgrade"), but this doesn't change the error and significant inconvenience of the first night in a 1 King room with four people, which is NOT the room we booked. We will not be staying here ever again.

Excellent hotel, with a very professional young man working the check-in desk. Room was spotless and breakfast was excellent. everything you can expect from a well run Residence Inn. Right across the street from Disneyland, yet surprisingly quiet given the overwhelming number of guests who are there for Disney.

Well located for both the Convention Centre and Disneyland, the hotel was a good choice for our six night stay. The King Suite was big; well appointed with a large bathroom (excellent shower !); sitting area with a pull out sofa bed (that we're glad we didn't have to use for six nights); and a good kitchen area with fridge, freezer, toaster, dishwasher and microwave. Typical of this sort of hotel, it did feel a little sterile and short on atmosphere. Breakfast is included - not a huge choice but sufficient to get the day off to a start; there is a small shop and also a small bar area that was never particularly busy. The roof top pool area was great - lots of shade if wanted and places to relax; nice pool; and some great water fountains to cool off under for the kids. And there is a well appointed laundry room. The hotel was well positioned for both Disneyland locations and the Convention Centre - with Garden Walk just 10 minutes away for restaurants and other activities. So, big comfortable rooms; well positioned; and functional.

My family and I have been staying here every year we visit Disneyland and every year our stay is even better. I highly recommend you to stay here because there is free breakfast, great customer service and housekeeping, especially the staff at the front desk. Jazzmarie Arteaga, front desk supervisor, was more than happy to help us with all our requests and was quick with her assistance. WE HAD INTERNET ISSUES WITH OUR TV AND SHE SENT A MAINTENANCE GUY RIGHT AWAY. Housekeeping kept our room clean, we felt as we were home and comfortable. Also, they made really cute designs with the towels and bedding. The staff working in the breakfast room are so hardworking, they kept refilling the food stations.
