Great score. Bare in mind, this it the score, not the soundtrack.

5.0 out of 5 stars The best!

I know the ratings of the movie are not really good, but back in 1995 when I went to see it in cinema and the main title started I was just going mad, I could not close my mouth after my jaws dropped. :). Reaaally good music, exactly what this kind of a movie deserves. One more thing, the tracks from the disc are exactly the same which you can hear in the movie, some of them are about below 10 seconds only but this doesen't take away nothing from it.

2.0 out of 5 stars Average album

I bought this hoping to get a few really really decent pieces of music from the film into my collection, since I use pieces from films (not useually like this) to help writing sometimes. However I was pretty disapointed with this one. The theme tune, doesn't feature on this album at all, and wherever it would feature in the film such as the final fight, the track picks up as soon as the theme music finishes...pretty annoying since its a good tune.
Also the music at the end of the film when good has won is great, with some nice singing (no words) to accompany a soft tune. But on the album its just the backing tune which is different im sure to the actual film...so that got me annoyed.
There are good tracks, some techno fight scenes and some more arty pieces do partially redeem the cd, but overall just about everything good music wise from the film isn't here.

5.0 out of 5 stars Ein sehr guter Soundtrack

5.0 out of 5 stars A Taste of things to come.

Mortal Kombat..... Well what can you say. Its amazing.

5.0 out of 5 stars ....

Also ganz anders als der normale original soundtrack. Dort waren die lieder in musiklänge

What song is Mortal Kombat based on?

That's right, the majority of the Mortal Kombat theme was actually stolen from a Eurobeat song by 2 Unlimited, called “Twilight Zone.” The song was then remixed by The Immortals, a Belgian electronic band.
