I am completely incapable of reading fast and if I try, I just get splitting headaches so I have to resort to dubs.

At a glance it looks like new episodes of the dub came out weekly on Funimation with episode 9 last week and 10 today, so probably in the next two weeks.

When is the Miss Kobayashi’s Dragon Maid Season 2 release date? At long last, the popular anime series is coming back for a second season. It’s been three years since the culmination of Season 1 back in 2017, but the anime is coming back soon. Read on to find out when the Miss Kobayashi’s Dragon Maid S episode 1 premiere date should be.

When is the Miss Kobayashi’s Dragon Maid Season 2 release date?
The Miss Kobayashi’s Dragon Maid Season 2 release date window has been confirmed as 2021. Unfortunately, a vague 2021 release window is all we know as of writing. Miss Kobayashi’s Dragon Maid Season 2 is currently scheduled to release in Japan at some point in 2021. Given the speed in releasing anime overseas, however, you can expect Miss Kobayashi’s Dragon Maid S episode 1 to premiere in the U.S. and in the U.K. in 2o21, too (probably the same day as it airs in Japan).
The official Japanese Miss Kobayashi’s Dragon Maid Twitter account broke the news of Season 2 airing in 2021. The tweet also confirmed that Season 2 will be titled Miss Kobayashi’s Dragon Maid S. According to the tweet, the S means “Super Supreme Second Life Start.” We agree, S is far less of a mouthful. The tweet also gives us a piece of key art for Season 2, which you can see below:

As stated above, Season 2 of the TV show has not yet been given an exact release date. Unfortunately, too, we don’t know what platforms Miss Kobayashi’s Dragon Maid S will be available on. Its original season is available to watch in its English dub on Funimation. Alternatively, you can also watch it subbed on Crunchyroll. It’s safe to say that Season 2 should be available on one of either Crunchyroll or Funimation when it releases in 2021.
The fan loved Miss Kobayashi’s Dragon Maid is finally back with a new season officially titled “Miss Kobayashi’s Dragon Maid S”. After the disastrous arson incident destroying the Studio Kyoto Animation building and the untimely passing of director Yasuhiro Takemoto the show’s production was on hold for a while.
However, the staff at KyoAni bounces back stronger than ever before. Tatsuya Ishihara taking the title of the new series director, Yuka Yamada as the scriptwriter, and Miku Kadowaki designing the characters.
According to the confirmation on Twitter, The second season of Miss Kobayashi’s Dragon Maid S will have 10 Episodes airing from July 8, 2021, to September 9, 2021. A new episode in the series will be released every Thursday at 12:00 am JST.
A total number of 5 episodes of the new S series have been aired yet and fans await the 6th episode.

What Happened in Episode 5:
In the last episode, Tohru learns about a new Maid Café that opened nearby and decides to work there during her free time. Kobayashi and Kanna visit later at the café to check upon her only to discover that she has become their cook. Tohru enchants the dishes served there with dark magic, making the café a success. Until she decides to quit. But before leaving she teaches the other maids dark magic as well.
A few days hence, Tohru and Kobayashi are attacked by Ilulu, an extremist from the Chaos Faction who criticizes Tohru for living as and with humans. Tohru is at a disadvantage against Ilulu as she protects the city from her attacks until Kobayashi procures Elma’s help, bribing her with sweets. This allows Tohru to go all out and defeat Ilulu. Ilulu later returns and attempts to seduce Kobayashi but fails. Knowing that Kobayashi has not fallen for her because she’s also female, Ilulu retreats for a while. But not before transforming Kobayashi into a male.
After being transformed into a male, Kobayashi spends the whole day resisting her sexual urges until the spell Ilulu placed in her wears down. Afterward, Ilulu is targeted by Cremene, a dragon hunter from the Harmony Faction and Kobayashi arrive to protect her.
After escaping for a while, Ilulu confesses to Kobayashi that she too has always wanted to coexist with humans, but other dragons always prevented her to do so. Especially after her parents were killed by humans. Cremene finds the duo and is set to kill both of them, only for Tohru to arrive and defeat him. After recovering at home, Kobayashi befriends Ilulu, who moves to her apartment.

Episode 6 of Miss Kobayashi’s Dragon Maid Season 2 titled “Uncanny Relationships (One Side Is a Dragon)” is scheduled to release on August 12, 2021, at 12:00, am JST.
