Casting and screen mirroring aren't the same feature on Roku devices, although they essentially accomplish the same ends. Instead, casting is limited to specific supported channels.
Mirroring, on the other hand, shows your entire device screen and doesn't have those limitations. So, it may be a better option if you aren't using those supported channels.

How to mirror iPhone to Roku TV
You can start mirroring through the Control Center of your device:
1. Access your iPhone's Control Center by swiping up from the bottom of the screen (older devices), or by swiping up from the upper-right corner of the screen (newer devices).
2. Select the mirroring icon.

4. Enter the AirPlay passcode that appears on your Roku TV on your iPhone.

If you're having issues with this process, you'll need to make sure that it's an option for you. In this case, that means your device must support AirPlay, you have to make sure AirPlay is enabled on your device, and that your iPhone is connected to your device.

Step 2: Enable AirPlay on your Roku
1. Press the Home button on your Roku remote.|
2. Select Settings.
3. Choose Apple AirPlay and HomeKit.
4. Select AirPlay and HomeKit Settings.
5. Verify that AirPlay is turned on, or turn it on.
Step 3: Connect iPhone to Roku TV
1. On your Roku device, select Settings.
2. Go into System and then choose Screen Mirroring.
