Cheesecake factory white chocolate macadamia nut cheesecake discontinued

If you’re anything like me, you are a firm believer that no dinner is complete without something sweet to round out the evening. That’s why Cheesecake Factory is one of my favorite casual dining spots. You can’t just leave a restaurant named after dessert without actually ordering dessert.

With 34 different options on the menu, it’s hard to narrow down the best Cheesecake Factory cheesecake flavors. Fortunately, I’ve spent years honing my cheesecake deliciousness detection skills so that I can help you out with some recommendations.

From the classic cookie taste of Oreo Dream Extreme Cheesecake to the just-right tartness of Key Lime Pie Cheesecake, anyone with a sweet tooth will find something that satisfies their cravings.

Check out my top picks for the 17 best Cheesecake Factory cheesecake flavors, including some past hits that deserve their due recognition. No judgment if you decide to eat your dessert before dinner tonight.

Fresh Strawberry Cheesecake

Strawberries are usually the best answer for most of life’s dessert-based questions, especially when they come glazed in a sweet syrup for an even fruitier flavor.

That’s why it comes as no surprise that adding everyone’s favorite red fruit on top of a slice of Original Cheesecake creates a delicious, fluffy piece of creamy heaven.

The Fresh Strawberry Cheesecake omits the iconic sour cream topping you’ll find on Original Cheesecake, but you won’t even miss it when you sink your teeth into those glistening, glazed jewels it’s been replaced with.

If you’re a fan of New York-style strawberry cheesecake, then this is definitely a choice that will leave you satisfied.

Peanut Butter Cup Fudge Ripple Cheesecake

Foodies who have been caught red-handed spooning peanut butter straight out of the jar will go absolutely gaga over this towering example of cheesecake innovation at its finest.

Instead of the classic graham crust, this bountiful gift of a dessert plate comes bearing a cocoa-based foundation.

What follows is a sugar-coma-inducing filling of creamy cheesecake rippled with a candy store’s worth of caramel, peanut butter, Butterfinger bits, and Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups.

Oh, did you think that was all? Wrong.

The Peanut Butter Cup Fudge Ripple Cheesecake cranks it up to 11 with peanut butter ganache topping, more Butterfinger bits, and a dollop of whipped cream for good measure.

Original Cheesecake

Simple. Blissful. Sweet.

If there’s one thing you’d expect from a restaurant called Cheesecake Factory, it’s obviously top-notch cheesecake, and the Original does not disappoint.

The restaurant eschews complicated additions for this humble slice, instead opting to stick with a classic, simple recipe.

The cake’s foundation is a buttery, cinnamon graham cracker crust for just the right amount of nutty crunch to contrast the silky smooth cream cheese filling.

The true pièce de résistance, though, is the sweetened sour cream topping for a tangy bite that offsets all the richness for a fully developed, complex bite that’s undeniably luxurious.

White Chocolate Raspberry Cheesecake

There’s been some hot debate in the dessert enthusiast community about whether or not white chocolate technically counts as chocolate at all.

Purists claim that the lack of cacao relegates poor white chocolate to the same category that scientists stuck Pluto in after deciding it wasn’t a planet anymore, but to that, I say “Nay.”

My supporting evidence would include a sumptuous slice of White Chocolate Raspberry Cheesecake.

One bite of tart raspberries swirled with white chocolate cheesecake in a dark chocolate crust would convince even the most steadfast denier that there’s more to rich chocolate flavor than a bit of cacao.

Oreo Dream Extreme Cheesecake

“Extreme” is an apt descriptor for the Oreo Dream Extreme, especially once you catch sight of the cross-section.

As you start to plunder the depths of this cheesecake, you’ll quickly discover that it takes “indulgent” to a whole new level.

We’re talking chocolate cookie crust, then a layer of rich, velvety fudge cake, cheesecake with whole Oreos baked right in, Oreo mousse, and all of that topped with thick, milk chocolate icing.

Even the whipped cream tower garnish has a dusting of Oreo on top!

Their slogan might be “Milk’s Favorite Cookie,” but I’d say it’s a safe bet that Oreos are cheesecake’s favorite cookie, too.

Ultimate Red Velvet Cheesecake

The science community defines density as the ratio of mass to volume.

However, in the cheesecake community, density is modeled by holding up a slice of the Ultimate Red Velvet Cheesecake.

Slices of red velvet cake mingle beautifully with silky cheesecake and cream cheese frosting. There are even white chocolate curls on the back, just in case you needed another reason to order a piece.

This is one seriously rich, sinfully moist hybrid dessert and more than likely destined for a doggy bag when you can’t finish it in one sitting.

Lemon Meringue Cheesecake

Just like grandma used to make, except way better!

Imagine the most delectable lemon bar you’ve ever had accidentally fell onto a perfectly executed cheesecake, and you’ll have some idea of how stellar this dessert truly is.

The combination of cool, tart citrus and luscious cheesecake is kismet, and Cheesecake Factory capitalizes on fate with their take on Lemon Meringue Cheesecake.

This match made in heaven features Lemon Cream cheesecake topped with custardy lemon mousse, then swirls of toasted meringue for a mouthwatering finish.

Diners who love bright, summery flavors are going to find this selection hard to resist.

Chocolate Tuxedo Cream Cheesecake

No need to pinch yourself because you’re not dreaming.

The Chocolate Tuxedo Cream Cheesecake is real, and it’s inviting you to lose yourself in its sweet embrace.

This one’s a masterpiece of chocolate fudge cake, succulent chocolate cheesecake, and light vanilla mascarpone mousse baked into a chocolate cookie crumb crust.

A swirl of bitter dark chocolate ganache is the perfect complement to all the sweetness, giving you a well-balanced bite you’ll be thinking about long after the last chocolate cookie crumb is gone.

Chocolate Hazelnut Crunch Cheesecake

The Chocolate Hazelnut Crunch Cheesecake may be gone from the menu, but it will never be gone from our hearts.

Fond are the memories of the thicker-than-average cookie crust, bits of crunchy toffee, swirls of hazelnut-chocolate cheesecake filling, and a drizzle of that sweet nectar known as Nutella.

It was a hazelnut lover’s dream and is gone from the world too soon. Perhaps someday we will see it rise again, like a chocolatey phoenix from the ashes, but until then, I can only dream.

Coffee and Cream Chocolate Supreme

Yet another woeful omission from the Cheesecake Factory menu is every cold brew fanatic’s dessert of choice.

Coffee and Cream Chocolate Supreme could put your morning cup of joe to shame.

The crust taps out to make way for a moist slice of chocolate cake, which serves as a yummy foundation for the thick layer of cold brew coffee cheesecake filling.

Fluffy coffee mascarpone mousse adds another jolt of cold brew flavor that’s tastier than anything you’d pick up at a cafe during your morning commute.

I’m not sure why Cheesecake Factory did away with such a scrumptious way to serve caffeine, but it, too, will be missed.

Chocolate Mousse Cheesecake

Chocoholics, this one’s for you.

Cheesecake Factory’s take on chocolate cheesecake is the paradigm of a decadent, classic dessert that leaves you feeling truly satisfied.

The Chocolate Mousse Cheesecake is a triple threat of cocoa flavor, kicked off by the same chocolate cookie crust we’ve come to know and love.

Next on deck is a silky chocolate upgrade to the classic cheesecake recipe, then a pillowy Belgian chocolate mousse.

This one’s a real doozy of chocolate goodness, with a consistently creamy mouthfeel uninterrupted by silly things like crunchy bits or fruit pieces.

Toasted Marshmallow S’mores Galore

Cheesecake is known for its graham cracker crust, so it’s only natural for s’mores, an iconic graham cracker-based treat, serves as the flavor inspiration for this indulgent dessert.

Toasted Marshmallow S’mores Galore starts off as all s’mores should: crisp graham crackers to hold all the ooey-gooey goodness together.

Follow that up with Hershey’s Chocolate Cheesecake filling, a layer of rich chocolate ganache, and a house-made toasted marshmallow, and you’ve got one nostalgic slice of summertime fun.

It’s all the fun of a beach bonfire without the sand in your shorts, dried salt in your hair, and pruney fingertips.

Key Lime Cheesecake

You may be scratching your head wondering, “Why in the world would the Cheesecake Factory play with the natural balance of dessert? Key lime pie is already a thing! Why does it also need to be a cheesecake?!”

It’s simple math, really: tart key lime pie + silky cheesecake with a vanilla crumb crust = one happy mouth.

Key Lime Pie Cheesecake has a lightness that delights the senses after a heavy meal, letting you enjoy your dessert without feeling weighed down by the more opulent ingredients like peanut butter or chocolate.

That means you have a legitimate reason to skip out on splitting dessert– You can handle this lighter take on cheesecake all on your own.

Salted Caramel Cheesecake

Sea salt caramel has been a hot commodity since Starbucks dropped their salted caramel hot chocolate back in the late aughts, and it shows no signs of falling from the list of elite-tier sweets.

The Salted Caramel Cheesecake only serves to bolster the flavor’s legitimacy, especially if you’ve ever found yourself wishing you could live in a world made out of caramel.

From topping to crust, we’re dealing with layer after spectacular layer of caramel.

Chocolate Caramelicious Cheesecake made with Snickers

Cheesecake Factory recently swapped the Snickers Bar Chunks and Cheesecake out for the Chocolate Caramelicious Cheesecake Made with Snickers.

In this case, I’m definitely in the “simpler is better” camp.

While the new option includes a brownie crust and Snickers swirled into the cheesecake filling, the OG version was straightforward.

You had your chocolate cookie crust, classic cheesecake filling, then a mound of Snickers bar chunks drizzled in caramel and chocolate sauce. What’s not to love?

Sure, brownies are cool and all, but sometimes you just want a humble slice of cheesecake covered in Snickers chunks. Easy peasy and super yummy.

White Chocolate Caramel Macadamia Nut Cheesecake

I know you’re probably tired of reading my lamentations on lost cheesecake flavors, but this is the last one. Promise.

It’s just that white chocolate macadamia nut is the superior cookie flavor, and somehow, Cheesecake Factory managed to make it even more crave-able. That’s a feat I would have never thought possible.

So, how did they manage this achievement? If you guessed caramel, you’re correct.

White chocolate chunk cheesecake, swirls of caramel and macadamia nuts, a blonde brownie crust… It’s a plethora of nutty-salty-sweetness that keeps you coming back for more.

At least until it was 86’ed from the menu.

Does anyone have the number for the guy who decides which flavors stay and go? I promise, I just want to talk.

Mango Key Lime Cheesecake

Rounding out the list of the best Cheesecake Factory cheesecake flavors is a twist on a twist. A double hybrid, if you will.

Earlier, I mentioned some simple arithmetic: tart key lime pie + silky cheesecake with a vanilla crumb crust = one happy mouth.

Let’s add two new variables into the mix: tart key lime pie + silky cheesecake + mango mousse + vanilla coconut macaroon crust = an incredible tropical escape that’s better than watching a sunset in the Bahamas.

Okay, maybe not that good, but it’s pretty close.

Adding toasted coconut macaroon cookies and fluffy, tangy mango mousse in the Mango Key Lime Cheesecake was a stroke of genius that will surely go down in history as one of the best innovations in food the world has ever seen.
