I had mine at 110mph on the speedo, but who knows how accurate they are. They are a fun sled.

I had a matching set of ZR's. One of them I saw "over 100"(pretty shaky ride across the ice)...then decided I PROBABLY should be looking ahead rather than down!! Still had some throttle left.

Nice sleds.

My kids have them now...and my "new" one is almost 40 years old...spoiled brats!lol!!

They claimed 110hp on the PreProduction! ( I have one!) But 105 is realistic! I've had mine to 115, but it isn't stock! Dynoed at 155hp!

I had my 2000 ZR600efi clocked around 108mph on good conditions and only mod was a Livingston's Clutch kit and 96 pics down the middle. This was pre-ethanol days though as well, not sure that same can be achieved on the new crappy fuels. I believe there was a 2000' radar run somewhere in which a 2002 carb went 110 and change.

My zr only hits about 75 or so max... Of course, it gets there REALLY quickly! (geared down as much as I could, I don't care about top speed, but lifting the skis at will is fun!)

yea thats about were i think mine tops out too its verry torquey granted im a bigger guy im 225lbs. I'm thinking about re clutching the secondaiy spring to the tightest setting because it wont lift the front skis hardly at all maybe i'm just asking for too much and should sell it buy a sno pro. I really liked my zl 440 i use to be able to stand it up evey were do cat walks. coulda been cause of my secondairy was set at the nuts setting i called and my half worn suspension too.so far these bigger cc sleds havnt impressed me i had a zl 440 with a wild cat 700 motor in it 2000 mxz 600 wich i could skip water like no other but had totally un usable power it go fast but unless i had my gf on back good luck getting over on 80 on a lake or road talk about sqiurely and when i did that not a verry impressed gf lol.

Watch you peak rpm if you do that, you do not want to exceed 8200.

Loosening the limiter strap will alow the the skis to lift, or remove the coupler in the rear!
