I know it's too early for implantation cramps but has anyone had dull period like cramps shortly after/ since ovulation and it ended up a BFP later on? I don't normally have cramps like this and nipples also feel sore but that's it. Hoping for baby #2 soon!! :)

@wishingsummerbaby,

Hi ladies! I’m 5 DPO and have been having light cramps for a couple days too. Also was very bloated yesterday. The cramps are coming and going, feel ‘empty’ and not like pre-AF cramps at all! Keeping my fingers crossed for you all! ??

How’s everyone feeling today? Still had bloating and slight cramping today, trying not to get too excited. I’m not planning on testing until next Friday at the earliest so I have a while to go. Keep us updated, everyone! 🤞🏼

how are you doing? Any updates?

I was googling my symptoms and found this thread! I’m 2dpo today, I always get ovulation cramps day of, I know what those feel like. One sided and achey, but today 2Dpo I’m crampy, low and in the middle, like AF is about to show, but obviously too early for that, and too early for implantation, what gives?!? Anyone have this and ended up with a BFP?? Thank you!

Will it feel like my period is coming if I'm pregnant?

Cramping is common in both PMS and early pregnancy. Early pregnancy cramps are similar to menstrual cramps, but they can occur lower down in the stomach. These cramps may persist for weeks or months during pregnancy, as the embryo implants and the uterus stretches.

Can you feel anything 2 DPO?

Days 0–7 past ovulation Women will not experience any pregnancy symptoms during the earliest part of the luteal phase. This is because pregnancy does not occur until the fertilized egg implants into the wall of the uterus.

Does implantation make you feel like your period is coming?

While there's no research indicating that implantation itself causes cramps, some women do feel abdominal tenderness, lower back pain, or cramping around the time of implantation. This may seem like a mild version of how you feel before your period starts.

How do you feel 2 days before your period if you are pregnant?

A note from Cleveland Clinic Things like missing your period, sore or tender breasts, feeling more tired and nausea (morning sickness) are common symptoms of early pregnancy. Some people have symptoms of pregnancy before they miss their period. Take an at-home pregnancy test if you think you might be pregnant.
