This chrome-bumpered beast is equipped with the original 270HP 454 CID LS5 V8 backed by a 3-speed automatic transmission which has not been verified as matching but believed to be. One of only 3913 units that were ordered in 1972 with the 454, this one is a solid example of a well-kept survivor. Twist the key, and the big original 454 fires to life, spitting the spent hydrocarbons out dual exhaust with a nasty snarl. Once it settles into its rumbling idle and its pilot takes control of things, the view over the top of that Big Block hood becomes so intoxicating that one may not be able stop driving it until it is time to fill the tank. And, on really nice days, take the T-Tops off and enjoy the open air as you cruise around to constant thumbs-ups from other drivers.
